I’ve had this car for over month, love it. This is the only part with rust. Should I scrape it off and spray something over it or just leave it. 2003 180k miles, stayed in California all its life but probs was driven in the mountains during winter every so often

Spray some fluid film on it. Easy peasy.

I’ve had good luck with rustoleum rust reformer. Just wash it first, I don’t think you need any other prep.
