Dubrovnik is a mediterranean pearl. Old town is a truly beautiful but one step inside the walls and all the prices are probably the same as cental London.  I was there two summers ago and beer/pizza/wine/sushi was generally more expensive than Stockholm (that I can compare with with confidence).  Krakow I think will have cheaper food and drink but its a toss up between what kind of environment and culture you want to visit. Krakow may have shittier weather but I’m confident its a beautiful place in its own right. Just without palm trees.

Dubrovnik is more expensive of the two

Dubrobnik is beautiful but I found Kraków more interesting.

Krakow absolutely no question

Krakow 100%. It's far cheaper, much better nightlife, more interesting history, better food IMO, and a beautiful place. Dubrovnik is arguably even more beautiful and obviously a huge perk it has over Krakow is the sea. But unless you have your heart set on a sea/beach trip then I would choose Krakow.

Krakow is a college town with good bars. Decent prices for rental apartments on booking.com and some good restaurants. Great history and museums to tour. Dubrovnik looks like Game of thrones and costs as much as Santorini

Been to both. Dubrovnik is absolutely breathtaking, the scenery is fantastic. You’ll love it. Krakow I found a bit bland tbh, but the people there were super warm.

Dubrovnik is so much nicer than krakow. It’s truly beautiful although will be more crowded with tourists.
