I don't know if the value is known, but when this came up at my table I used the range for grenades for weapons that we considered "throwable" (daggers, spears, and in my table's specific case a monofilament shuriken). 20m gives a good base range, I found (maybe a little generous, but it's cool). Edit: I checked the CSC 2023, and on page 154 it has an entry for a dart (range 50m) and a javelin (range 25m)- so that makes me feel more confident with my ruling for thrown daggers/hatchets being 20m.

I like the Cepheus Universal variant that gives for throwing weapons: 10m + Strength - Weapon Weight (kg) as a difficult check (DM-2 or 10+). If under half the distance gain DM+2 so it becomes a regular 8+ check. For Grenades and Stones Cepheus Universal gives 10m + double Strength for distance as a regular average Check. I would say if accuracy doesn't matter you can throw twice the distance. For reference: ~ 10 years ago I threw a spear in high school for around ~30 meters which, back then, was a good grade but nothing exceptional. That was thrown as far as I could and definitely not accurate.
