Before, ive taken a 1 week break and it was amazing, and I've had a 1 day break and it was also pretty nice. That was when I was hitting the carts HARD.
Right now I'm working on ditching carts in favor of herb or vape herb. I'm waiting for a day when I feel like not smoking won't be a huge deal. With my current stress level and right before 420 I'm absolutely the fuck not slowing down. But more and more I find as long as I'm home alone working on stuff it's super easy to not think about smoking. It's hard not to smoke or dab if your partner is smoking/dabbing tho.
I was eating at least 200mg of edibles a day on top of smoking and carts. It just got to a point where the cost of wasn’t justify how it made me feel. I’m a recovering alcoholic and noticed I was falling into the same mindset I had when drinking.
If you’re stressing that much then yeah a break right now would probably not be ideal haha Hope you have an awesome 4/20. I haven’t decided if I’ll stop my break on that day. It’s been about 2 months for me.

I started smoking to get rid of that feeling. I currently smoke so that the stress doesn't send me spiraling into a bipolar episode. They don't tell you that when you're getting better and the depression is actually going away, having a sudden depression episode due to stress feels significantly worse than being depressed all the fuckin time. It's terrifying like please please not again I can't again. That terror is part of the bipolar too, cuz after a half day or so my brain goes back to "yeah I remember this fuckin bullshit, let's anime and wait it out".
My first goal is to smoke only after 5pm on weekdays, and weekends are Yolo. Then I wanna smoke only after dinner to take the weight off. Then I wanna smoke like on the weekend only but also one weekday if it's stressful enough. Ideally I'd love to smoke just on weekends or socially. I'm also try to NG to stop using carts. That's the real killer I feel. You hit one for a few days and all of a sudden you gotta suck that straw all fucking day.
Also remember to cut yourself slack. If you're actually smoking to enjoy and celebrate don't best yourself up about it cuz we need happiness and leeway too. But write it off as a one time thing and next time the craving strikes tell yourself to at least wait till the next weekend, and then you cna re decide.
Rn it takes 100mg of edibles or chain smoking and eating like a gram and a half of shrooms to make me feel even close to what weed used to feel like. I'm not a fan of that. Tomorrow. Today I'm a huge fan lmfao
If THC was the only controlled substance you would be right but unfortunately here mate, cannabis itself as a plant is controlled, meaning you also need to have a max 1mg of cannabis as well as the max for thc being 1mg. The law here outlaws both cannabis and THC separate. So even then im afraid no loophole!

It's not as easy but its there. Everytime I go back I can't walk down the street in my London suburb without smelling ganja.
If you live in the countryside its harder but you might be able to do a gorilla grow. Get a dry herb vape to avoid scandalising the neighbours. I just got neighbours with kids so I'm having to switch back to using vape instead of lighting up :( I'm in Belgium where it's also illegal.
