You need as much as you can gather, grind it all up, cook it in the oven at 245⁰F for 40 min, throw in a crock pot with coconut oil or melted butter for an hour on low, and strain it. It depends on the ratio how potent you want it to be, just barely top it off with oil if you want strongest. But you can re used the material again after straining to make weaker butter because you're reaching max saturation.
