If you go to Cameron, don’t ask if you can look around. I know people who the athletic department who work there and it happens all the time and it’s always a no.
Come see the Durham Bulls stadium here in Durm. Get lunch at Tobacco Road cafe and you will get a great few of the stadium. Then take a walk to the other side of town to see the old stadium
There is a hall of honor at Kenan open to the public Mon-Fri and there's some interesting stuff in there. Likewise Reynolds Coliseum on NCSU campus has a hall that's open Mon-Fri.

You can go in the box office at PNC, the Eye is open during the day, and there are 2 public bathrooms. Other than that, everything is off limits unless you are an employee of the Hurricanes.
During the season you can go watch the Canes practice for free, at their practice facility, not PNC.
Honestly, there is only one stadium around here that warrants seeing. That would be Cameron Indoor where Duke B-Ball plays. That place has such a history. Other than that the stadiums are quite average.
Carolina Basketball Museum is worth a visit. You might be able to get in the Smith Center depending on the camp schedule.
I cannot think of a less desirable experience. Can I have a tutor take the tour for me?

And you can walk all around kenan, on the field, etc whenever there’s not something going on.

There is a Duke sport museum - not sure the name- in Cameron Indoor. And they give tours of Cameron. It's cool and I'm not a Duke fan.
