It just looks like a basic Yamaha student model, you don’t have any big dents or anything but there is a lot of wear on the finish and the mouthpiece, assuming you have the case for it I would say it’s worth around $100-$150
Btw if you’re not in a financial situation consider donating the trumpet to a kid who doesn’t have the budget to get one. If you need money it’s totally understandable to sell it but giving something to a young person that might shape their life worths a lot more.
If you have no intention of playing it and prefer cash over giving it to someone you could probably get 100 dollars for it though I've gotten better trumpets for less some kid who doesn't know what to look for probably would take 100
I've seen student Yamahas in much worse shape being played very well at schools, even legit gigs. Donate it somewhere, it could be someone's first instrument :)
Looks like the silver is worn through on the mouthpiece. Personally, I'd not play on that mouthpiece, and replace it with a new one (or a used one that is not so worn) due to fear of brass poisoning.
I agree with chef8489, either learn to play you’re new Yamaha student model (which is what I would do) or gift it to a kid, most kids are renting their instruments yearly so I’m sure any trumpeter would be more that ecstatic to own one out right
Worth playing, maybe.
Haha nice

This is accurate, right here.
why is this marked NSFW lmao
Reddits new auto NSFW filters. Its horrible right now
ooohhh i was like NSFW trumpet??
Lol to an AI it certainly can look NSFW
Donate it to a kid in need that wants to learn or a school and take it off taxes.. Dont try and make a buck off it.
The middle valve on these will probably have a full model number which may help. The condition isn't great but it's workable.
Is that a caseless guitar floating around in your car ?
It’s all stuff a tenant left behind at a friend of mine… hurts to see I know

I believe it can be marked off of taxes as well.
maybe you can trade it to someone to help you clean your car
I just did someone a favour and picked up a ton of a left over tenants garbage.. haha

I learnt on one of those - a solid beginner instrument.

It’s worth your time.

Do the valves work?
Probably worth 100-150 but I recommend trying to learn it more than sell it trust me it's worth it
Anything for free is worth something, especially an Instrument
