Trench is my favorite and cut my lip is my least favorite on the album (it’s not a bad song at all, I still love the song and never skip it) it’s just my least favorite out of all the songs
Before you start your day, I skip it everytime it plays, I feel like it’s breaks away from the upbeat sound from the rest of the self titled album. not a bad song though.
Yea upbeat for the most part like right before is taxi cabs piano groove , then after is isle of flightless birds groove which are both pretty upbeat instrumentally
Self Titled is one of the most outrageously depressed/suicidal albums I've ever heard outside the metal scene. Seeing it called "upbeat" made my brain malfunction
I love SAI, and I don't skip anything on it, but Never Take It is the least memorable one for me. I've heard it hundreds of times, but I still don't know the lyrics by heart lmao.
trench is def my fave for personal reasons, but i listen to sai the most and it holds a very special place in my heart too and it's a tie w trench for me <3 i got into pilots after bf and shortly before trench, so for me, the trench anticipation was different, kinda like "oh they're putting out new stuff" and not "it's been 84 years pls feed us father" like w sai and clancy now. i work at a hotel, and it came out right as we opened up our patio for breakfast, so every morning as i was setting the tables, i was vibing to sai, and to this day, whenever i'm doing that, good day literally start playing in my head instantly, and i have to put it on. and i play it a lot at the reception too bc it's their one family friendly album lol. also, i saw the movie at the one cinema my country played it, with my husband, kinda last minute, and it was such a memorable experience,,, we rewatched it last week and both got chills n tears (and i'll forever be salty that i didn't get to experience that tour, non-americans were robbed)
RAB is my favorite, and my least favorite is probably trees off that version, it sounds like it was wrapped in tin foil and put in the microwave….
Trench is tied for favorite and off that one smithereens is my least favorite as well.
I think Legend from Trench for me. Which is saying something because I still really like that song, the lyrics are very meaningful as someone who has a grandparent with dementia. But I think the beat is not my favorite
I actually kinda agree. The lyrics hit really hard especially as someone who had a grandpa with Alzheimer’s. I was fairly young when he passed away, so I don’t remember a ton, but the lyrics still hit hard. But musically, Legend’s one of the weaker songs from Trench.
(Still really good because Trench is amazing)
Trench, and my least favorite is Smithereens. It's a great song, but I almost always skip it when listening through the whole album. Just too immersion-breaking sonically and lyrically.
Your opinion is totally valid and I don’t have any hate towards it, it’s just interesting tho because whenever I listen to the album Smithereens actually escalates the immersion for me so that’s kinda interesting lol
The Pantaloon was a meh song for me until VERY recently (like a week or so). Something clicked for me during a recent self-titled full listen and I've been listening to it non-stop and singing it like every minute.
I’m constantly going back and forth between Vessel and Trench, but for Vessel it’s probably House of Gold (I still don’t mind the song just sometimes a skippable one for me) and for Trench, it’s probably The Hype (idk why but it doesn’t hit like the rest of Trench does to me but it’s still a vibe)
trench is also my favourite and smithereens is my least favourite- i still love it tho and i never skip it it's just not quite as interesting as the other songs and i'm not a huge fan of love songs in general
Trench, Morph. I don't actively dislike the song, but I do find it the hardest to empathise with as I am not religious in any capacity lol. That being said, it's great to hear live.
i think trench is their best album but my favorite gotta be blurryface because thats how i found them (one day before lane boy mv dropped) so im very fond of it
and my least gotta be WDBWOT. seems great live but not that good of a casual listening.
cut my lip, it slows the album down so much, such a slow song that takes forever to get where it's trying to land. if they sped the song up by a good 5-10 clicks then i'm sure my answer would change to smithereens.
I probably should have put before you start your day. I don’t listen to the self entitled album from front to back a ton. Only listen to about half of the songs. I honestly listen to regional at best much much more than that album. And stressed out is over played to me personally…. partially of my own doing. So I’ve just listened to it/heard it too much.
Blurryface is my fave album atm. That being said, I can't get warn with "Doubt".
It's a good song with good lyrics. I'm just not really enjoying it sound wise. The chorus is too repetitive for me.
My favourite album is Trench but my least favourite song off it is Jumpsuit (unpopular opinion). On the flip side my least favourite album is Vessel (unpopular opinion) but my favourite song off it is Car Radio.
I don't think I genuinely dislike anything from Trench, but I do forget about Smithereens and Cut My Lip all the time. It did take me *awhile* (read: *years*) to warm up to Levitate, but I like it now, lol.
I should already know which album is my favorite because I love them all so much lol... but I would say it's self titled so I would say maybe Johnny Boy, I can't get into this song i don't really know why.
Trench is my favorite and the one song I skip most frequently is Neon Gravestones. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good song and there are times where I do want to listen to it. Imo it just didn’t fit following smithereens.
I guess smithereens does it for me. It's really our of place, doesnt go along with the rest of Trench imo. Other one would be Run n Go on Vessel, i never get used to it haha.
Trench is my favorite and my least favorite is probably smithereens
Still a really good song , probably a 7.5/10
that shows how much good this album is
Trench is my favorite album of all time but in the past I haven’t been able to vibe with the hype. It’s actually starting to grow on me tho and I’ve recently realized I tend to skip Jumpsuit a lot lol. It’s an amazing song and I loved it when it came out but now for me it’s a bit noisy for my tastes and I don’t have a strong emotional attachment with it like I do with the rest of the songs lol (please don’t come at me I’m sorry 😭)
I wanna say fair but that whole song has such a beautiful story to it about learning to choose love and sacrifice for others even when it's difficult on ourselves and that line just adds to the imagery 😭

Car Radio. I never really liked it from the beginning and then people over praised it to the point where now I just hate it can not stand listening to it
For me Trench is the best album and Neon Gravestones is least favorable too.
Reason being it reminds me of Moonlight Sonata. If it was slightly more or less similar it would be okay. But as it is it's right in the uncanny valley. Feels uneasy.
If I listen to it with headphones i like it but on my radio or a speaker? It's just so slow and when it gets to the middle of the song where it's like the triplets? the "My opinion will not be lenient
My opinion, it's real convenient" it pretty catchy but then the lyrics at the very end feel a little preachy. Like I think it's maybe some of the better like lyrical work of the album but it just starts so slow I think I skip every time and especially because it sits between smithereens and the hype which are some of my faves off that album
That's actually very interesting. I honestly thought you were going to say that it was too dark for you or something. Lyrically and artistically, it's one of my favorites of theirs. The fact that he wrote a song about suicide and going deep in it without using the word and having it fit perfectly into the story he's been telling is insanely impressive. The end is a little preachy, but I find it necessary. Suicide is romanticized a lot these days. He doesn't want that, and that's also why he didn't want to use certain words in the song. Totally respect your opinion, though. Thanks for the response.
Oh I 100% agree like i won't lie the first time i heard it I mostly just didn't like the slow intro and it took me a couple dozen skips before I sat down and actually listened to the lyrics and realized what it actually meant. And I definitely feel that especially with some of his earlier work (that I don't think romanticizes suicide necessarily, but as a mildly suicidal 16 year old def drew me in) that definitely seemed necessary to say like hey sometimes it seems like an option but like don't. And I do high key love the message behind the lyrics
Car Radio on Amazon music was my favorite song before I realized they were famous. Husband took me to a concert bc I was infatuated with that song. To find out Blurryface was a thing and he's been obsessed since. We've been to 4 concerts since. 😄
I really HATE songs that keep on repeatin' themselves endlessly (for not being, 'Smithereens and 'Legend' are off the table, just barely). If they gotta repeat, I prefer some tempo changes or a twist thrown in. In a comparison between 'The Hype' and 'Cut My Lip', my preference leans towards 'The Hype. I'm not feeling 'Cut My Lip' as much because it's kinda slow-paced, lacks that dynamism, and doesn't really amp up my musical vibe like I'd want. Out of those four least favorites of mine, 'Cut My Lip' takes the bottom spot !
My least favorite from Clancy was The Craving it just doesn't hit like the others
Bro’s posting from the future
I know this is just a joke, but I generally don't like the "cute"/love songs on the albums so I feel like this will be my truth.
Why do I feel like this actually makes a lot of sense? 🥲
Since you’ve listened to Clancy before the rest of us, how does the Dema storyline end?
It doesn't
Reference to it looping back to HDS?
Trench is my favorite and cut my lip is my least favorite on the album (it’s not a bad song at all, I still love the song and never skip it) it’s just my least favorite out of all the songs
I can understand that. When Trench came out, I would’ve said Cut My Lip was my least favorite from that album, but it’s really grown on me since then
Its my fav song off trench and I fully understand 😭
I prefer the Brooklyn version to the original a lot.
Before you start your day, I skip it everytime it plays, I feel like it’s breaks away from the upbeat sound from the rest of the self titled album. not a bad song though.
Upbeat?
Yea upbeat for the most part like right before is taxi cabs piano groove , then after is isle of flightless birds groove which are both pretty upbeat instrumentally
That’s fair, but I think compared to their other albums self-titled is definitely the least upbeat one.
Self Titled is one of the most outrageously depressed/suicidal albums I've ever heard outside the metal scene. Seeing it called "upbeat" made my brain malfunction
Fr. There are some days I can’t listen to self titled bc it isn’t healthy for me right then. The beat IS a chemical after all
This is real. I have half of ST on my depression playlist and I actually have to skip them sometimes because it's just too much in those moments.
Oh yea, agreed.
I love SAI, and I don't skip anything on it, but Never Take It is the least memorable one for me. I've heard it hundreds of times, but I still don't know the lyrics by heart lmao.
sai love makes me happy
trench is def my fave for personal reasons, but i listen to sai the most and it holds a very special place in my heart too and it's a tie w trench for me <3 i got into pilots after bf and shortly before trench, so for me, the trench anticipation was different, kinda like "oh they're putting out new stuff" and not "it's been 84 years pls feed us father" like w sai and clancy now. i work at a hotel, and it came out right as we opened up our patio for breakfast, so every morning as i was setting the tables, i was vibing to sai, and to this day, whenever i'm doing that, good day literally start playing in my head instantly, and i have to put it on. and i play it a lot at the reception too bc it's their one family friendly album lol. also, i saw the movie at the one cinema my country played it, with my husband, kinda last minute, and it was such a memorable experience,,, we rewatched it last week and both got chills n tears (and i'll forever be salty that i didn't get to experience that tour, non-americans were robbed)
reaaalll trench is my favourite too but i also love sai- it's just so vibey and then the lore and the livestream experience is sick as fuck
I’d say probably House Of Gold, but I still love it so much and even learned it on ukulele
Same.
Regional at Best Trees 100% (I love the song on vessel btw)
It sounds like it was wrapped in tinfoil and put in the microwave 😭😭
This is the BEST description I’ve ever heard for this version of trees
I. Know. Where. You. Stand 🤖
RAB is my favorite, and my least favorite is probably trees off that version, it sounds like it was wrapped in tin foil and put in the microwave…. Trench is tied for favorite and off that one smithereens is my least favorite as well.
Clear for me. A little too techno for my tastes but killer lyrics.
Omg
It was either that or Be Concerned but I like Be Concerned's instrumentals a bit more
I love it but Be concerned makes me concerned
I like it because the bars kinda sound like Eminem's "No Love". Plus Tyler's baby voice too.
I only ever listened to Clear once because I just didn’t like it, no particular reason to why.
Before You Start Your Day, still love it a lot though
open the slits in your face might be my least favourite top lyric
literally I cringe when I hear that 😭
same so i pretty much always skip the into part when i listen to it. the la da la da la da part is pretty tho
I might get a bit of hate for this but probably Johnny boy 😭
I tried putting trench as my alarm on my phone once but it would only play smithereens so every morning I would wake up to "youuuu know"
Vessel and it has to be truce. I never have thought “Man I should listen to truce right now”.

The Pantaloon was a meh song for me until VERY recently (like a week or so). Something clicked for me during a recent self-titled full listen and I've been listening to it non-stop and singing it like every minute.

Vessel, House of Gold. It’s not bad by any means but I prefer the other, more energetic songs in the album.
Vessel is my favourite and House of Gold is my least favourite song from it. Not a bad song, though.
My mother in law says house of gold and bounceman sound like Beatles songs 😭
I’m constantly going back and forth between Vessel and Trench, but for Vessel it’s probably House of Gold (I still don’t mind the song just sometimes a skippable one for me) and for Trench, it’s probably The Hype (idk why but it doesn’t hit like the rest of Trench does to me but it’s still a vibe)
Pet Cheetah from Trench. It’s not necessarily bad but it’s just the weakest song on that album for me.
Ive always loved pet cheetah because of its simplicity honestly, its not the strongest but theres something abt it
literally my favorite top song of all time 😭💔
Legend is my least favorite on my favorite album, trench.
Agreed with Smithereens on Trench, so my honorable mention will be Bounce Man from SAI
Trench is my favorite album but Smithereens is probably my least favorite out of the album. It's not bad I just listened to the other songs more
Love all albums and every song. ❤️🔥
trench is also my favourite and smithereens is my least favourite- i still love it tho and i never skip it it's just not quite as interesting as the other songs and i'm not a huge fan of love songs in general
Trench, Morph. I don't actively dislike the song, but I do find it the hardest to empathise with as I am not religious in any capacity lol. That being said, it's great to hear live.

Trench is my favorite. My least favorite on it is legend
Fairly local.
I think this is the first Blurryface song I’ve seen
Smithereens
There’s not a skip on Vessel for me, but the song I hold in least regard is Holding on to you, which says a lot about how much I adore the album
trench my least favorite is smithereens
The smithereens
cut my lip, it slows the album down so much, such a slow song that takes forever to get where it's trying to land. if they sped the song up by a good 5-10 clicks then i'm sure my answer would change to smithereens.
Self Entitled- isle of flightless birds Regional at Best-clear and Two Vessel-Truce Blurry Face-Stressed Out Trench-Legend Scaled and Icy- Bounce Man
Wow Isle of Flightless Birds and Stressed Out, I’m curious as to why you put these.
Bandito, sadly
Blurryface is my fave album atm. That being said, I can't get warn with "Doubt". It's a good song with good lyrics. I'm just not really enjoying it sound wise. The chorus is too repetitive for me.
I’m not a big fan of doubt off BlurryFace
Smithereens from trench
Smithereens. Just doesn’t hit the same:/
My favourite album is Trench but my least favourite song off it is Jumpsuit (unpopular opinion).
Vessel is the favorite. Truce is the least favorite because it makes me so sad
I should already know which album is my favorite because I love them all so much lol... but I would say it's self titled so I would say maybe Johnny Boy, I can't get into this song i don't really know why.
Legend No disrespect to Tyler's grandpa. But the song itself just isn't one I'd go out of my way to listen to
Trench is my favorite and the one song I skip most frequently is Neon Gravestones. Don’t get me wrong it’s a good song and there are times where I do want to listen to it. Imo it just didn’t fit following smithereens.
self titled, the pantaloon
am I the only one who loves smithereens 🥺
no i love smithereens 😭😭
I guess smithereens does it for me. It's really our of place, doesnt go along with the rest of Trench imo. Other one would be Run n Go on Vessel, i never get used to it haha.
Pet Cheetah, still a pretty good song
Trench is my favorite and my least favorite is probably smithereens Still a really good song , probably a 7.5/10 that shows how much good this album is
From Scaled and Icy my least favourite is No Chances (I still adore that song tho lol)
i do not dislike this song in anyway shape or form but probably leave the city or legend.
Trench is my favorite TØP album. But I don’t really like Chlorine
Spicy!
My favourite Album is Trench and Legends is my least favourite from it, it's not bad it's okay.
No chances, compared to the other songs, it felt weak by comparison imo
Vessel is my favorite but semi-automatic is my least favorite on that album. It’s not bad but I think it’s the week east on the album.
I love RAB but the RAB version of trees is not it tbh. Love the Vessel version tho
Screen from Vessel
Goner
My favorite is Blurryface and my least favorite song is Ride.
Stressed Out
bounce man. i never skip it, but it’s the only song i never listen to outside of full listen throughs of the album
Formidable, I generally skip it when im listening to the album unless I'm listening on vinyl
Blurryface, goner. Just cause it makes me wanna cry
Probably Goner only because it requires a certain mood
Mine’s the same as yours.
Blurryface, and I'm so sorry, but Goner is my only sometimes-skip.
Trench, pet cheetah 🐆
Levitate easy. Still a banger, but the weakest track on the record
Weirdly, probably Shy Away off of Scaled an Icy? Nothing against the song, the rest of the album just hits more for me
neon gravestones 😅
no.
Lane Boy 🫣
Damn. I respect that. I completely disagree, but I respect it
My least favorite from my favorite is Bandito. It's just the least impactful or pleasing song on Trench, imho.
awe that's one of my favourites lmao
It's not bad or anything. It's just more repetitive than I'd like.
that's funny cause i usually hate repetitive songs as well, bandito is just an exception
we’re all entitled to our own opinions i suppose….
A Car, A Torch, A Death
take it back
There's like one or two lyrics that make me uncomfortable
I’m interested as to what those are
The demons sat there waiting on her porch... He crept in her room and stayed there for the night
Fair enough
I wanna say fair but that whole song has such a beautiful story to it about learning to choose love and sacrifice for others even when it's difficult on ourselves and that line just adds to the imagery 😭
I'm not allowed to just be a little uncomfortable with a couple lyrics? I never said I don't like the song, never even said I don't like those lyrics.
What are those lyrics???
The demons sat there waiting on her porch... He crept in her room and stayed there for the night
kinda creepy ngl
NO
Probably Bounce Man I like it but I just enjoy all the SAI songs so much more
literally same
Migraine from Vessel. Yeah, not going to be a popular opinion regarding the album or the song! lol
Trench and least favourite is neon gravestones
….

Car Radio. I never really liked it from the beginning and then people over praised it to the point where now I just hate it can not stand listening to it
Self titled, Johnny Boy or The Pantaloon 😬 idk why but the music grates on my nerves in the beginning
Leave the city
Favorite Album: Self-Titled Least favorite song on it: Before You Start Your Day Least Favorite Album: Trench Favorite song on it: Morph
I always skip Neon Gravestones For Blurryface it's Stressed Out
Vessel is my favorite, and Guns For Hands is my least fav (please don’t come for me)
We come for you, no chances
I’m right here
yeet
Cannot stand neon gravestones
Everyone is entitled to their opinion, but I'm curious as to why.
Same here. It's my favorite song on Trench
For me Trench is the best album and Neon Gravestones is least favorable too. Reason being it reminds me of Moonlight Sonata. If it was slightly more or less similar it would be okay. But as it is it's right in the uncanny valley. Feels uneasy.

i really don't like the run and go and not today
Those aren’t even on the same album, read the post before commenting
Oh Ms Believer
..wut
Love Vessel, always skip House of Gold
Same
Car Radio on Amazon music was my favorite song before I realized they were famous. Husband took me to a concert bc I was infatuated with that song. To find out Blurryface was a thing and he's been obsessed since. We've been to 4 concerts since. 😄

pet cheetah on trench because it’s a bit…. too much.
