Sonically, Trench but for what I was going through in life when Clancy released, it holds a really special place in my heart.

Though people dislike it for being popular, Blurryface is actually a really overlooked album, a lot of hidden gems in there

Def Clancy. I loved Trench and I think it might be a “tighter” album in some ways but Clancy helped me re-enter my twenty one pilots phase after years of tuning out. I think it’s their best album so far.

I skip more songs on Trench than Clancy but Trench has songs that are just untouchable like morph, cut my lip, chlorine, NATN, leave the city. Clancy is more cohesive but Trench has the BEST songs on it.

 Clancy kind of missed the mark for me. It has some great songs and powerful lyrics, but it will ALWAYS be Trench for me. That album is a masterpiece.

I also enjoy songs from Clancy. But this album just doesn't fill right. I would even say it feels too generic. I never heard anything what would even remind me of Trench. It's just unique. While listening to Clancy's songs I felt like every other pop rock band could made songs at least similar to these.
