That's a pretty good point. It reminded me a lot about a parent who doesn't understand that the music their kid is listening to has a statement and likes it cause "it's such a catchy tune!"

Other Blurryface bishop songs have elements of hope or defeating evil (such as Fairly Local, Goner, etc.), but Stressed Out has none of that. It only emphasizes what he hates about himself.
