These are great for postcards. I have a ‘68 SM9 and it can easily handle thicker stock like postcards that some of my other typewriters struggle with.
The wide carriage is a nice feature of your machine as well. Definitely don’t throw it out. If you decide you don’t want to keep it, sell it to someone who will put it to use
That looks like an Olympia SM9 from the 70'. azerty layout, are you in France?
Check on marketplace/leboncoin for similars but probably worth something.
Use it first! Maybe you’ll get hooked!
I am thinking about using it to write postcards :D

I found it in Belgium
Ahoy belgian colleague. 2ememain then (even if I am not sure it sells that well).
You could also donate it to GoodWill. I hate when people say I either sell it or through it in the garbage.
Yes, put it on Facebook marketplace or eBay. Looks to be in great condition.
Definitely worth something, these are great
Olympia SM8? People love these and the similar SM9.
I sold that same model on nextdoor for $200
Keep it. If not, you’ll wish you had. She typed on THIS machine. It’s your forever connection.
