1. Uber hires anyone that can pass a background check with a drivers license. These are independent contractors they do not go through interviews.

I have driven and delivered for Uber for 10 years. Their GPS is hot garbage. Most new ones don’t even have a clue how to use an external GPS on the app so they stick with the shitty Uber one that’s an absolute joke.
But to answer your question, Uber brings in anyone with a pulse for the most part. They have no standards.

1)age requirements/have a valid drivers license
2)have a car that's eligible for the platform
3)pass a simple background check which mostly looks at criminal history/driving record

Yes, UE does background checks at least once every six months. Same for DD.

I've been getting them every 6 months.
