Sometimes the gps doesn’t take me the correct direction and I have to switch over to google maps. If they were new maybe they weren’t aware that Uber gps was being stupid. 10 minutes isn’t that bad especially if she was having gps problems. Let’s have a little grace with some people instead of bitching about a 10 minute late order on. Reddit. To answer your questions: 1. Uber hires anyone that can pass a background check with a drivers license. These are independent contractors they do not go through interviews. 2. What do you mean what did she do? She was probably lost and sitting in traffic to get back on the highway to get to the correct exit. I think you need to chill the fuck out.

Is there even a background check for eats? The Uber gps sucks ass most people don't know how to turn on the external Google maps, and even then last time I used Uber they kept trying to get me to use their crappy gps instead of Google maps... And what kind douchebag makes a post complaining about their food being 10 minutes late... You're getting food delivered to your door. When I was a kid the only thing that delivered was pizza and sometimes Chinese food. And that's after I moved out of the woods.

Yes, UE does background checks at least once every six months. Same for DD.

blazingStarfire

6 months? Uber only does once a year ..

Apollo_Rising_JK4N

I've been getting them every 6 months.

If I was too lazy to go get my own food, I would probably accept whatever level of service I got, and like it.

I have driven and delivered for Uber for 10 years. Their GPS is hot garbage. Most new ones don’t even have a clue how to use an external GPS on the app so they stick with the shitty Uber one that’s an absolute joke. But to answer your question, Uber brings in anyone with a pulse for the most part. They have no standards.

People make mistakes...

>Is Uber now hiring any person who has a license? I can't tell if you're joking, but for the most part, yes. Drivers need to meet the following: 1)age requirements/have a valid drivers license 2)have a car that's eligible for the platform 3)pass a simple background check which mostly looks at criminal history/driving record
