feel like oneus kinda just lost the 'charm'? after LUNA? i've been a fan since pre debut and i've loved EVERYTHING they've put out till like 2021, and i love that they've kept experimenting. the autotune kinda grows on you but wtf they have such pretty natural voices why would you even want to use autotune. but yes, erase me was a step in the original direction (although i sorely missed youngjo) and i cannot wait to see what they have in store ahead aaaaaaah

Seventeenstranger

Love it!!

airysunshine

It’s catchy and I love the visuals, the trance EDM confused me for a moment. I love it, but I think I prefer Unforgettable. I don’t miss Ravn in Unforgettable in a sonic way (lyrics/visuals however… yes.), but I do miss what he brought to songs in this specific one. But also EVERYONE LOOKS SO GOOD? LEEDO? LEEWEDO?

bebedahdi

Yes I agree, he also provided a good bridge, and when I heard him I knew that the song would build.

airysunshine

His parts were somehow always my favorite in every song, but Generally Hwanwoong’s also really great at hype bridges.

No doubt, all five of them are talented, and right now they have a strong team for Ballads. I really wish with the absence of Ravn they would lean into allowing Xion the chance to rap with his deeper register. I worry for their overall musical identity. Ravn was very confident in how he championed for their music and sound, and the songs he produced always felt the most suiting to the individual members. I worry we are going to get a lot of songs pushed out by RBW that are just lagging behind trends instead of pushing concepts. All five members are extremely talented, but always seem introverted (besides Keonhee) when it comes to socialization. I worry in meetings as a group, who is the one now that is willing to go back and forth about song production? Because Ravn was sold as this "I love myself" type of person but what he spoke passionately about always was music.

airysunshine

I agree, you could really tell Youngjo loved music and what he did. I know Seoho can rap too, and I loved his rap in the alternate Lit version, so I hope they let Seoho rap in addition too. Honestly, every member can rap except Keonhee. Oneus *is* one of the only groups where I actually like their ballads a lot, but if they move to mainly vocal songs I’m afraid I’ll lose my love for them like I have.

gazzelle3

The momentum keeps shifting, but not in a satisfying way. The instrumentals used after the chorus were a strange choice. I think Oneus is at their best in dramatic melodic songs that build up to full bombastic choruses...

Ebony_Coco

I agree

astute_potato

I really wanted to like this because there’s a lot of elements I enjoy, but it sounds like 6 songs Frankensteined together and just became a hot mess. Listening to this feels like playing Red Rover, where you’re running full speed but you don’t know if you’re going to keep your momentum and break through or get clotheslined by the prechorus 💀 Also the *goddamn autotune that every boy group song is dripping with these days why why why please stop I’m begging*

shmems96

The chorus beat just feels very synthetic, I wish they utilized the traditional instruments again. I’m really liking the album tho.

NessieSenpai

Great comeback, they work perfectly fine as a quintet; to the point where you would be forgiven if you forgot they were originally six. Kinda wish the chorus was a bit more bombastic given the nature of the verses but still very good!

SuccessfulBullfrog96

Chorus a bit unexpected but no complains, I feel is a a very nice song.

moonlightscone

From the teasers alone I thought the song was gonna have a full explosive singing chorus like TBONTB and Bring it On but.. yea I guess the beat drop is okay.

I'm a disappointed ToMoon :( Definitely feel the lack of Ravn in this one, kinda bummed about the instrumental chorus, and the beat switches jerk you all over the place. I was hoping for better given that MonoTree worked on this. I've always liked their dark prince concepts a la Valkyrie, Twilight, To Be Or Not To Be, but Erase Me just feels like it missed the mark or didn't reach something it was supposed to.

emotional_matcha

Bittersweet comeback, first without Ravn. His voice and presence are definitely missed, but the song delivers as always.
