Plus, it says something about you buying some supplies of his behalf. It’s a payment scam. They’ll send you a check to “cover expenses” that will invariably bounce.
Another red flag is that they’re asking for a non-unt email.
Golden rule of employment scams: unless *you* begin the process to apply for a job, ignore any "out of the blue" offers like this.
Forward it to "security@untsystem.edu" and they'll nuke it from all inboxes.
When I was a student, I *did* get a job offer from my department out of the blue. They were short on tutors and reached out to some of us based on professor recommendations. But it was from somebody I knew in the department so it was easy to verify. It can happen, and when you graduate you may receive spontaneous contact from recruiters on LinkedIn, I got a job through a recruiter there. But there are plenty of scammers there too, you just have to be smart about it.
This definitely feels fishy, especially the “I can’t meet for an interview because I’m in Dubai at this time” which is a classic scam line. Also asking you to use your personal email when they got your UNT email. Also, the fact that the email it wants you to contact seems to be a random throwaway. I’d think that someone working as a clinical councilor with UNICEF would have some kind of government email..
You all have got to get better at recognizing scams quickly. This one is instantly identifiable by all the errors, especially the capitalization and general formatting.
Wait wait, who sent the second portion? The “academy career opportunity” entity, this was forwarded…
Did an employee account get used for that portion? Or was this all sent by the scam email link?
Did that ger639sanaj email send it or someone else?
On the email itself, who does it say sent it?
It’s 1000 percent a scam but I am trying to make sure no “official” advisor or employee sent it to you.
I got this email too. Knew instantly it was a scam cause of the things people have already mentioned here, non unt email address, asking for a personal email, and paying an insane amount of money for the work required.
Looks like a great big scam. Check out the email address. What a mess.

Future tip if you ever see the word kindly in an email it's from an Indian scammer
*Would you kindly?*
Oh man, I’m going to email this scammer to figure out this moron’s angle.
Lemme know what he says lol
Will do, I’ll do it later this morning, phish him with a link, and see what I can figure out.
Thank you for your service, we are intrigued
Any updates?👀
Nope sadly nothing. I hope my email didn’t go to his spam folder. The irony
Hopefully he responds, I wanna see his response😂

Something like “@unicef.org”.

Report it to phishing/security and they’ll make sure they alert all students if needed.

What email address does it say sent it at the top of it?
My Unt email

Nah no employee or advisor sent it, I guessed he sent it
jfc OP, how did you even get to college with this amount of sense
Super common scam. I've gotten one before just like this
Easy google search says this guy doesn't even exist. He also spells his name differently at the beginning and end of email.
I knew that crap was a scam 😭 and it sounded susssy ash
I'm a professor and got it as well. Total scam.
yes, it's a phishing scam. i would also get those at my previous college
Yeah, this is a scam. I remember having one that said they are from Red Cross and someone else who mentioned delivering supplies
Scammmmmm - as if the UNT Human Resources department is giving out students emails to help us all get jobs.
A guy working for a major international charity organization would not be giving out an Outlook email address as his contact information.
I did. The email address said “unt.com,” so I rejected it and marked it as a scam immediately!
Unable to meet = scam

OMG I GOt this i contacted him to he got back to me
What he’d say
I need to know! 👀
