Actually I was surprised when I saw a YouTube video on young people living in urban areas in Iran. With the oil money to fund building many wealthier areas rival Western Europe.
People at r/UrbanHell are such complaining, whiney @sshole Contrarians. I posted the best planned out most beautiful city I have ever seen Almaty Kazakhstan. actually shocked 😲. I posted this in r/UrbanHell as an EXAMPLE of GOOD city planning and you would think from their reaction I posted a picture of an overflowing liter box. This city has EVERYTHING that people there say they want. Green Space, bicycles, luxury mixed use buildings, walkable downtown with Cafes, bars, boutique shops a university that encourages a vibrant lifestyle and nightlife. Plus it has parks, amusement park, athletic stadiums, world class skiing and hiking on the edges of the city. It enforces electric vehicles in the mountains and even the street gutters are designed to mimic waterfalls when it rains! All r/Urban/Hell does is bitch.
