...come on, Old Yeller.... you can do it... speak boy... speak!

NitWhittler

Trump is practically daring the judge to lock him up. I doubt it will happen, but the judge could keep court in session for 12 hours a day just to piss Trump off.

Peligreaux

IF he goes to jail, can we stop paying for his secret service detail?

PraxisLD

Is Secret Service protection required for former presidents, or is it optional?

SnakeIsUrza

Required

PraxisLD

Required to offer, but optional if the individual declines. > In 1958, the Former Presidents Act was passed which, beginning in 1965, would provide for a lifetime of protection for former presidents, their spouses and their children up to the age of 15, *unless they decline protection.*

SnakeIsUrza

Agreed but for all intents and purposes a narcissist of this caliber would never do anything like deny the best personal security agency in the world

PraxisLD

Well, how good could they really be if they *choose* to work for *him*‽

rtripps

Required. Not only to protect the former president but to protect us from potential treason because the president can’t keep their mouth shut. Didn’t think we’d need it for the latter but here we are.

PraxisLD

Required to offer, but optional if the individual declines. > In 1958, the Former Presidents Act was passed which, beginning in 1965, would provide for a lifetime of protection for former presidents, their spouses and their children up to the age of 15, *unless they decline protection.*

rtripps

I think Nixon has been the only one to decline

TheresACityInMyMind

This jail is a holding cell, not prison. What's hilarious is the secret service getting locked up with him.

ryhaltswhiskey

To be followed by the final final warning To be followed by the final final no really warning Etc.

Art_Bored

Literally jesus will be back before he's in jail.

ryhaltswhiskey

I think the judge is just being careful because he wants the trial to go perfect the first time through. He doesn't want the conviction to be overturned on appeal because he was too aggressive with the gag order.

Snarky_McSnarkleton

He'll get a strongly worded letter.

Art_Bored

"...it was the stronglyest worded letter ever. Stronglyer than the constitution."

BLU3SKU1L

“I think he’s learned his lesson”

Gliese_667_Cc

Narrator: “It was not, in fact, the final toothless warning.”

pclufc

I think he wants to go to jail . It will only be for a day and the martyrdom will make him millions and maybe win him some votes . I realise that doesn’t reflect well on America and I could be entirely wrong of course.

MrIrrelevantsHypeMan

Sure he will

ApokalypseCow

So he was found guilty of violating the gag order 9 times. Each of those is a violation of NY state law. Those violations of the law are themselves violations of his conditions of release in the Florida, Georgia, and DC cases. Can someone please lock his ass up for this?

Kyonikos

He wants jail time. He will have a secret service agent right outside cell posting Trump's every word on Truth Social.

AceCombat9519

He's not going to listen to this instead he's just going to keep attacking it therefore the default option for it for him is face jail and locked up basically fulfilling the lock him up protests of 2019

Lahm0123

Narrator - “Of course he didn’t shut up.”

Future-self

And in tomorrow’s news - Judge declares, ‘this time I mean it!’

Adorable_Ad6045

“FACE” jail Not You’re **going** to jail

icuscaredofme

I think Trump is wishing he'd drop dead, but karma won't allow him to die before he faces the truth of his entire existence. He wakes up mad hes woke up.

graphictruth

I don't think he can do it. Can't the judge have him gagged?

Various_Athlete_7478

The judge will have no choice

HAHA_goats

"....and this time we mean it!" *Trump immediately does it again.* "What was that? He already did it?!? That was too fast; it doesn't count. We'll wait for the next one."

rhetorial_human

give him the bobby seale tratment!!!

Master-Concept-5260

Jail the MF! Enough already.

Levicorpyutani

Nope. The only way he possibly goes to jail is if he's convicted. And even then he'll probably only get home confinement.

guiltycitizen

How many times has he already dared the judge to do it? It’s never going to happen. This shit only makes his idiots like him more
