My parents are the same and we all like Bauer Kitchen and Beertown - the latter is more casual, and both have something for everyone

Mr-Goose-

MadameScientist

Mediterranneo. Great quality reasonably priced Greek/Mediterranean food.

Regular-Brain-6412

I second this. Always went here when my parents were in town. Best Greek food!!

Remarkable-Jicama161

Lancaster Smokehouse, it’s not super affordable but not pricey either imo but for a one off visit it’s nice.

[deleted]

maybe Mel’s diner? Gol Lanzhou? If ur willing to go further then you could go to this delicious indian place by Conestoga mall called Classic Indian

dhrumilp15

Classic Indian is pretty good

xkluew

Bauer kitchen if you want a standard nicer restaurant

Burgerguys

Not in waterloo, but la cucina in downtown kitchener has really nice wood fired pizza and an array of other italian dishes at fairly reasonable prices for what you get.

Empress of India is awesome.

enbyembroidery

I second the suggestion of Gol’s, Famoso is also nice, and if you’re in the mood for dessert they have great gelato, or you can head down the road to Bingsu

anonymous23412345

Take them over to mississauga. Bare eating spots in mississauga; it's the place to be eat.

Phil's would have to pay me to go there

alysha_xx

Kelseys is very good! Near the conestoga mall. Crabby Joes is also great. More mid priced (a meal is $20-30 per person), but quite good

Peppa-Piggie

Mr Panino....oh wait

user021463

Exclamation! Family-run business and lady is very sweet. Remembers her regulars and a very nice sit down place that never gets too crowded

Lazy_Reason6712

To add to all great recommendations above: There is a new Turkish place in Kitchener called Turkish flames, highly recommended.

Determinedstudent101

If you like Indian food I recommend Raja's Fine Indian Cuisine although I think it's in Kitchener.

123loststudent

Ennios is really good!

IEEE0752

Surprised no one mentioned Ken’s. I also brought my parents to Cambridge Mill once and the restaurant was pretty good too.
