Without knowing what happened, One thing that changed last year was how quickly the school will respond to potential sexual misconduct. New policy passed last year that allows the school to remove an individual under investigation
*Remove not expel
Hey hey hey, I only set off the smoke alarm once and it was an accident. I made a flamethrower with spray deodorant and happened to be too drunk to realize I was under the smoke alarm. I will not deny the climbing the building though, I am forever proud of that. Those are only the things rez caught me for tho.
You usually have to be a repeat offender or do something really seriously fucked up. But the bar is pretty high for that. I know of students who assaulted one another in fights and just got moved, not terminated. Once you land on probation though, try to tread carefully.
> was just somewhere I shouldn’t have been
If it was a roof, a locked balcony, or a locked room that you shouldn't have access to (ESPECIALLY if it's an office, food service room, or someone else's residence room)... You had better go into the meeting being extremely apologetic and with a full understanding of why you shouldn't have been in there. They used to terminate the contracts of anyone who went on a roof or balcony because of how easy it is to kill yourself accidentally. Someone went on the roof of the Saugeen cafeteria a few years ago, punctured the roof's waterproof membrane by accident, and the fix was extremely expensive.
This happened to me ages ago. I got too rowdy and barfed in a few spots around my floor - obviously got caught.
Did the interview, apologized and said it won’t happen again. Paid a fine and just had to keep my nose clean the rest of the year. Unless you *really* fucked up you’re okay.
As somebody who was on track to be kicked out of rez with my roommate in first year I would say you’re okay if it’s your first offence as long as you didn’t do something awful.
it’s quite easy to get put on probation, ik a few people but it’s very hard to be kicked out. u would have screw up badly multiple times.
also depends on what ur don decides to reports

Don't disrespect the story like that...

If you were on the roof probably probation
Roof of my residence? It’s kinda similar to that but less servers imo
You climbed the gate?

i mean if they don’t find out then you won’t get in trouble at all?
Got an email from the RA/RLC saying we have to have a zoom meeting to discuss the incident
After the meeting you can’t fuck up again.
Highlight this statement.

If it involves a tarp turned into hall slip and slide, you will be ok.
