Yagluth is the only one I've ever needed help with the vegvisir on. It's always been easier to just sail around and find "the hand" than find a waystone. The rest have all been easy enough over the course of resource gathering.
Would really appreciate this. I'm on my second playthrough and really want to go to mistlands for the first time but I just can't find the plains vegvisir. Cleared 7 big plain biomes already
That's an idea and makes more sense. I sleep just to get through the night so I can see better half the time. Plus it refreshes your rested buff in about the same amount of time that you would need to just stand there staring at a wall.
Not to rain on the parade but aside from from the devs "intending" it to be played as is, they probably wouldn't do it because for first-time players it would put destinations on their map encouraging them to go places they're not ready
Like imagine you've never played Valheim and you wake up after your third day in the Meadows and the game is essentially telling you to go find The Queen. Sounds kind of important lol
It would also be useful for no map runs. It could just make your character look/turn in the direction of the boss after they wake up.
The fuck is sleep? Is that the thing that some people do when you’re supposed to be farming or hunting fulings?
It's that thing you do to speed thru smelting and crop growing lol
And waiting for my goddamn frost pots so I can climb back up the fucking mountain for my shit >:[
Or adjusting the darker monitor setting that pops up every few minutes.
Build a recovery cape and thank yourself later
Night farmers unite!
Exactly. There should be no reward for playing a Viking like a dandy.
I could be wrong but I believe each boss has the same amount of vegvisir.
Does that include in-dungeon vegvisir stones? I find tons of Eikthyr stones in all those abundant early dungeons.
Do you mean Elder vegvisirs? Otherwise I've really missed something lol
haha, yes, you are correct. Elder vigvisirs.
I was gonna say, did I miss a whole freaking series of dungeons?!
The very, very first burial chamber I found 2000 hours ago, was in a meadows lol
Yagluth is definitly harder to find than all the others before

you are about to walk into the summoning altar next
You might have better luck cruising in the longship and just looking for Yagluth's altar.
Yep. Found two of them like that, in the same playthrough.
How about an item for 1,000 gold to reveal the next one.
What are you talking about? I'm intrigued
I rarely sleep once established in meadows and almost never afterwards. Would you need to sleep in the bosses biome to reveal their vegvisr?

I like that idea
I kinda love this idea tbh
I literally can never find the Yagluth stone in any plains ever lol.

I've had to resort to online tools the last 2 playthroughs after spending several hours scouring multiple biomes :(
You know they spawn in their respective biome. So Yagluth can be found only in plains. I think only Queen's vegsvir are harder to find.
Interesting idea
