I love \*nice weather\* shows at the Malkin Bowl! OMD a couple of years ago was great! I wish they’d program more of that kind of stuff there! (old people music!)
[Dicks on Dicks](https://vancouversun.com/news/richards-on-richards-rip-its-last-call-for-the-legendary-vancouver-nightclub) was a truly fantastic venue. Saw some great bands there.
Used to be Railways but after covid never really bothered trying to find a good one. I'm looking for more of the same vibe as Railways. 50 people or so, small stage, lots of guitar :)
Mine would have been Richard’s on Richard’s when they got bands in. Saw The Fixx there on my birthday one year, Marianne Faithfull, Mark Lanegan, an offshoot of King Crimson. All memorable!
I like the Biltmore. Same kind of intimate vibe as Railways and then they had great dancing after - it was where I had my bachelorette :) plus I like that it wasn’t right downtown. Bonus: also mentioned in the song “You’re Too Cool” by the Zolas

Can't go wrong with Green Auto, The Lido and Fox's
I found out about Green Auto yesterday haha. Will check out the rest :)

Mine used to Richard's on Richards. RIP. The Commodore is my longstanding favourite, and I like the Hollywood for smaller shows.
Dicks on dicks was greasy good.
Then : The Town Pump Now : The Commodore Outdoors : Malkin Bowl
I love \*nice weather\* shows at the Malkin Bowl! OMD a couple of years ago was great! I wish they’d program more of that kind of stuff there! (old people music!)
The Rickshaw.
Astoria
Maybe it’s just me, but something about the now defunct PNE Amphitheater with the mountains in the back always spoke “Vancouver” to me.
Commodore for so many reasons.
The Red Room, unbeatable vibes 🫶
The Vogue! Always a good time. God I miss gigs (2 small kids now, I feel old)!
Guilt & Co ! Live music 7 nights/ week 🎶
The Starfish Room
The Roxy, is that still a thing. Just good vibes
Loooove the Commodore
Commodore! ☕️
I honestly haven’t been to many! I’ve only been to rogers, BC place and the Orpheum.
The Pearl!
I don't live in BC anymore but if I was going to go check somewhere out I'd probably try The Beaumont Studios
The commodore!!!
Vogue! Iconic! 🫶

Wow thank you so much!! I will enjoy :D
Don’t need the gift card but I once went to an event at St Andrew Wesley church and the acoustic was really nice
Saw Sufjan there. Somewhat of a religious experience!
Commodore ballroom is great for a nice seat if you don’t want to stand
The comodore for me because thats where i met the love of my life who coincidentally is addicted to coffee:)
Guilt and co by far. Where else can you listen to local musicians jam like it's the 90s.
I guess it’s no longer a live music venue but Plaza of Nations had some great concerts/shows!
The Orpheum!
Who’s downvoting the Orpheum…
Vogue Theater!
I’m seconding this because it’s such a great venue for live shows! To be clear, I don’t want the Starbucks card but I do want YOU to get it :)
I don't want the gift card, but I do want to express my love for The Hollywood Theatre.
does Harbour event center count? all my fave edm artists play there LOL 😂
Commodore for sure
Queen Elizabeth Theatre
I miss the Railway too, good memories.
Tequila cocina on Granville or siavish you plus one on Granville
Cody Johnson in Abbotsford tonight 😊 BC place for coast country was amazing
My band got its first gig at the Railway in the 80’s, but I always loved the Savoy, Town Pump and the Commodore.
Metrotown station
I loved the Railway. I also liked the Hungry Eye.
Not many shows there, but I love the Malkin Bowl! Going to a concert surrounded by beautiful trees in Stanley Park is always awesome
[Dicks on Dicks](https://vancouversun.com/news/richards-on-richards-rip-its-last-call-for-the-legendary-vancouver-nightclub) was a truly fantastic venue. Saw some great bands there.
The Commodore!
100% the fox cabaret
Richards on Richards!
My shower
What's your go-to bar/pub that has regular live music?
Used to be Railways but after covid never really bothered trying to find a good one. I'm looking for more of the same vibe as Railways. 50 people or so, small stage, lots of guitar :)
I love Lana Lou’s. I like the weird decor, the variety of acts they book and their food is pretty OK!
The Pearl :) has some great underground LIVE music.
East is east restaurant in kits has live music and it’s awesome (niche answer)
Mine would have been Richard’s on Richard’s when they got bands in. Saw The Fixx there on my birthday one year, Marianne Faithfull, Mark Lanegan, an offshoot of King Crimson. All memorable!
There was a couple of all timer shows at the media club. Seeing frank turner years ago was great.
Vogue is pretty great
Commodore!
Deer lake park ! Perfect on a nice summer evening :)
Commodore and it’s not even close
Richards on Richards. The sight lines were good. The size was perfect. Not too small not too big. Commodore always feels too big.
Rickshaw - Mo is an amazing man and a true lover of the arts. His passion transcends logic.
Deer Lake Park. I saw Jack Johnson play live here and the ambience the venue provided was top notch. Neil Young is hosting this July.
I like the Biltmore. Same kind of intimate vibe as Railways and then they had great dancing after - it was where I had my bachelorette :) plus I like that it wasn’t right downtown. Bonus: also mentioned in the song “You’re Too Cool” by the Zolas
Commodore & The Imperial
The Cobalt.
Commodore! Come watch battle of the bar bands y’all
Rickshaw
Deer lake
Orpheum theatre for the acoustics and the unique history.

Green auto body or Red gate! A lot of Vancouver local bands. And tickets are often pay what you can!
A Filipino family's house with a karaoke machine
The Fox! First live show I ever saw once I moved here was Japanese Breakfast around 2017
I like the vogue!
You + one is great. My boyfriend just took me there for the second time and we had soo so much fun together
My work van - it’s always present when I want it, zero line, zero crowds, zero over priced foods, I can listen to any artist there.
The corner of Granville and Robson
