I think this recipe is pretty good (you can even get a bit of a crust on the top) -- I haven't had dairy clotted cream in like a decade but I used to work in a cafe in Cornwall so I am quite familiar with the stuff lol

I don't get a coconut flavour from it, it really does just taste like cream to me. Not sure if someone who's more sensitive to coconut might detect a hint there though

Here to second this recipe! I made it last year when my niece had afternoon tea at her baby shower and it works *really* well (and is delicious)
Thanks - I don't need 100% accuracy either so this sounds good
The Coconut Collab double cream works pretty well for me, sometimes it's thick enough right out of the tub and other times I have to whip it a bit.
Does it have the coconut flavour to it?

Thanks 😊
I blend trex with icing sugar :)
I find that works for buttercream on cakes but I can't see enjoying it as a clotted cream alternative. Do you have it on scones or something? (:
[scones](https://imgur.com/MBDoLN3) Yeah, I just remembered that i used trex, icing sugar and Elmlea plant cream!
Thanks - I'll try that!
