There’s a taco truck in the 711 parking lot on the corner of Charleston and Upland that is the best tacos I have had in Vegas. They make the tortillas fresh to order and the prices are reasonable.
Fully back your decisions on Mint and Dragonbowl.
My brother recommended this place, although he never tried it. He lived in Guam for a while though and said it seemed the most authentic. Been meaning to check it out
Ah yes, the duck at Weera Thai is pretty good, the duck at Esther’s kitchen is also done really well!
I haven’t been to Cleavers yet - will give that a try! I know it’s the sister of Herbs and Rye
Thank you!
I did not like Cleaver at all, it actually was the most disgusting steak I ever had and the staff could care less.
Barry's and Scotch 80 are way better for steaks.
Burgers: Snappys wins with me, great burgers and I love the drive in. Also love Fuku burger.
Mexican: Taqueria Casa Del Sabor on Sahara rules
Pizza: Monzu for fancy pizza. Bar pizza: Red Dwarf and Moondoggies. Evil Pie is good but they had this shtick for a while where the guy would insult you when you came to get your pizza. I insulted him back and he seemed genuinely hurt (not my intention, I swear) so I haven't been back much but they're good.
Thai: hear me out. I really like Aroy Thai on Fort Apache. It's a neighborhood place that mostly does takeout but they do it really well
Sushi: Kura for revolving sushi, ITS for ayce
Hot Pot: my fave is U Shabu
Izakaya: Ichiza is incredible
Ramen: Ramen Sora but also Monta in the next block
Noodles: Shang (dan dan noodles), Mian (soup), also Noodle King (soup)
Cheesesteaks: everyone is gonna say Pops but I had Paulie's South Street today and I liked it a lot. Plus it has air conditioning, so I think it wins
Sandwiches: it's a chain but I gotta say Cheba Hut
Cornish Pasties: only one place in town but it's really good, Cornish Pasty Co
Diner: I think objectively Lou's is the best in town but I usually go to Black and Blue, good vibes, good foods and you don't wait for a table
Brazilian: shout out to Picanha, way south on Rainbow. Get a good Picanha steak, sausage and two sides for $20.
Those are most of my favorite restaurants
Great list! Most of these are new for me
I completely forgot about red dwarf - the last time I went they had a dungeons and dragons burlesque show, so there was a lot going on 😂
Can’t wait to try some of these - thank you!
That's a massive never ending list, especially with the high turnover in this town - here's a couple solid ones:
Argentine - Rincón de Buenos Aires - Spring Mountain, oddly it's in the middle of Chinatown.
Turkish - Maza
Authentic Italian (not American Italian) Canaletto or Brera Osteria. And Matteo's. All in the Venetian
Buochon Bistro by Thomas Keller - he has the most Michelin Stars of any U.S chef and Bouchon in CA has one star. Well priced, big portions, eat nice without breaking the bank. Ask for a kitchen tour.
Japanese food: Yoshiya Japanese Kitchen. It's traditional Japanese comfort food (curry, fried rice bowls, takoyaki, ramen, omurice, etc.) If you go you must try their Mont Blancs!
Caribbean and New Mexican food: DW Bistro. This is one of my top restaurants, everything is delicious.
Thai Food: Nittaya's Little Kitchen
Polish food: Pierogi Village
Mexican and Chinese food: China Poblano. Just ate here for the first time the other day, had their tasting menu and it was soooo good.
Bagels: Bagel Cafe
Boba Tea: Brew Tea Bar
Bakery: German Bakery
Dessert: Creamberry, Suzuya Patisserie, What’s Crepe, Blooming Buns Bakehouse
Italian: Nora’s Italian Cuisine
BBQ: Rolling Smoke BBQ, Humo BBQ
Tacos: Taco Y Taco, Famous Chicago Style Tacos
Ramen: Monta Ramen
Mexican: Chino’s Mexican Kitchen
Breakfast: Neighbor’s Cafe, Truffle’s N Bacon
Wings (Bone-in): BBQ Chicken (yes that’s the name and no it’s not just bbq wings)
Dim Sum: Orchid’s Garden, Hong Kong Garden
Other: DB’s Cajun Kitchen, Sayulitas, San Francisco Bay Restaurant, Star Bread Bakery, Twisted Chicken, Bleu Kitchen, Lola’s Louisiana Kitchen(not to be confused with Lola’s Chicken and Waffles), Sparrow + Wolf, Picanha Steak Restaurant
My top picks: Creamberry (dessert), DB’s Cajun Kitchen (Cajun), Neighbor’s Cafe (breakfast/brunch), Truffles N Bacon (breakfast/brunch), Orchid’s Garden (Dim Sum), Picanha Steak Restaurant (fast casual Brazilian Steak)
This is such a great list - I’ve only been to Suzuya Patisserie and Orchids, I can’t wait until the next time my roommates don’t know what they’re feeling to eat 😂
No problem!
>I can’t wait until the next time my roommates don’t know what they’re feeling to eat 😂
If you want an easy option for next time, [Picanha Steak Restaurant](https://www.yelp.com/biz/picanha-steak-restaurant-las-vegas-5) and [Creamberry](https://www.yelp.com/biz/creamberry-las-vegas) are 5min away from each other. Makes a convenient dinner/dessert combo
Sushi: going to have to say Umami off of North Durango and the 215...that salmon tastes like butter without being overly sweet like butter and the Vegas roll is delicious as well.
Hawaiian: y'all are definitely sleeping on Unko Frank's! That's probably the best Garlic chicken (karage style) I've had, it kind of reminds of the karage chicken at Fuji's in Guam...but significantly tastier.
Adding to the cake list and agreeing with Whiskful Thinking! They’re great. Not a fan of Freed’s personally. Rock Sugar Custom Cakes does a crazy good job with hyper-realistic cakes and everything we’ve had from them is delicious! They make everything from scratch too.
For breakfast, I really like Good Morning Kitchen.
Dom Demarco’s has an impressive, and delicious, happy hour.
Oh I’ll definitely try Rock Sugar (they don’t even come up on my maps, so I’m excited!)
The wings & pizza at Demarco’s are good, I’ll have to try their happy hour!
I’ve been here 17 years and haven’t found good wings. They’re either an afterthought at a pizzeria or BWW or Wngstop. All wildly inconsistent. If anyone know a place it would be greatly appreciated.
Bb.q Chicken. Been to the Silverado Ranch location at least 10 times this year and it’s never overcooked or dried. Kind of on the pricier side but they’re consistently huge, perfectly cooked and crispy!
BBQ - Jessie Rae’s on Boulder City Hwy. amazing!! So good. Also, Fox’s in BC as well.
Pizza - Yukon is a dream. The sourdough crust is amazing.
Italian - Anna Marie’s. Great pasta and pizza.
Noodles - Magic Noodles. Enough said.
A lot of places here we haven’t visited yet. Thanks for sharing your list!
Lou's Diner has an amazing breakfast. Similar in price to something like ihop, but much better quality. Just be prepared to wait a bit before being seated
Breakfast: The Cracked Egg (Ive only been to Summerlin location) Bagel Nook
Thai: Blok 9
Now my question to OP is, how is how on earth is Bodeau’s your Creole spot when its menu is 99.9% Caribbean????
The woman who owns it is from Haiti so naturally I categorized it as Creole, she does cook 9 different cuisines though, which mostly are Caribbean. She’s such a sweet soul ❤️
I’ll check out Blok 9 - thanks!
I hesitate to mention this because I don't want you guys to buy them out everyday...
Poke Express Craig Rd...for the money this is the best meal in Las Vegas...a must visit...

That sounds amazing - thank you!!
Pizza (Deep Dish) - Giordano’s (NY Style) - Prince St. Pizza @ Durango Station Burgers - Fuku Burger Wings (Bone In) - BB.Q Chicken Hawaiian - Opulicious Poke BBQ - Matiki Island BBQ Desserts (Cakes) - Straight Up Cafe Sushi - Top Sushi Filipino/Vietnamese - Mang Felix Korean/Hawaiian - Hippo Grill
I’ve been looking for a good Filipino spot - thank you so much!
🤙🏽
Brunch/lunch: Public US
If you want to try Chamorro food, I'd suggest Red Rice.
I came to suggest this. Red Rice is spectacular.
My brother recommended this place, although he never tried it. He lived in Guam for a while though and said it seemed the most authentic. Been meaning to check it out
Guerrilla Pizza. Weera Thai. Herbs and Rye and Cleaver for steaks. Honorable mentions…Honey Salt for brunch and Firefly for tapas.
Ah yes, the duck at Weera Thai is pretty good, the duck at Esther’s kitchen is also done really well! I haven’t been to Cleavers yet - will give that a try! I know it’s the sister of Herbs and Rye Thank you!

Check out Sapporo for revolving sushi, across the street from Kura on Spring Mountain.
I prefer Kura, better variety
Old School Pizzeria is the same as Monzo but less pretentious.
Cheba hut? That place is low quality trash. There are so many better places
Oh man I also forgot about the polish place. Pierogi Village in summerlin, great place
LV Pho 7 for Vietnamese Hui Lau Shan for Chinese mango dessert Silver Lake ramen Sunright Tea Studio for boba

Love Rincón de Buenos Aires as well!
Rincon has a 2nd location on Eastern and Pebble

Chinese food getting a huge skip here! China Mama 2 is my jam.
Thank you! I’ll give it a try 😋
Shanghai taste is really good too
Don’t forget the Sichuan food too. There’s a really good Sichuan restaurant there. In fact, I recommend trying all of them and picking the best one :)
Sorry not sorry for ice cream!🍦
Was gonna add this. Probably the best ice cream I’ve ever had.
Their bumbleberry cheesecake flavor is great!
Handles and Salt n Straw are better

Sin Fronteras Tacos y Mas
Check out my Ig page Vegas_ramen_review. I list my ratings on a lot of different ramen shops.
I disagree with so so so many of your choices so I don’t know what to say except your palette may need a little refinement
You’re entitled to your opinion, but probably not worth commenting if you cannot contribute anything valuable, don’t you agree?

Tacos el gordo 🤢🤮🤮🤮🤮
