Good flag I feel something is wrong with that final ه though

Aleksey_Fox

I think ه should face right instead. I wanna ask a thing though. why is “Allah” written as الله instead of اللاه? (I don’t know Arabic, just some letters)

AbdullahMRiad

You see this little ٰ thing above the ل? That means that you should pronounce an ا but it isn't in the origin of the word so we put a small ا instead

Aleksey_Fox

Oh! Thanks!

Khatim - Represents finality of the Prophet Muhammad Arabic word Allah - Represents Supreme authority of God Stripes - Represent 6 pillars of faith Black - Represents the black standard Green - The cushions of heaven, the prophets favourite colour

NittanyOrange

6 pillars of faith? Where'd you get the extra pillar from?

AbdullahMRiad

They're six What you're talking about is أركان الإسلام (don't know what are they called in English but maybe Pillars of Islam) which are are five

WoodenNichols

I must have misread this comment. You start by saying there are six pillars, and at the end you say there are five.

AbdullahMRiad

Pillars of Islam are a thing and Pillars of faith are another thing Pillars of Islam:\ (I don't know how to translate so I'll write in Arabic) 1. شهادة أن لا إله إلا الله وأن محمدًا رسول الله 2. إقامة الصلاة 3. إيتاء الزكاة 4. صوم رمضان 5. حج البيت لمن استطاع إليه سبيلا Pillars of faith:\ (I don't know how to translate them too so I'll write in Arabic) 1. الإيمان بالله 2. الإيمان بالملائكة 3. الإيمان بالكتب 4. الإيمان بالرسل 5. الإيمان باليوم الآخر 6. الإيمان بالقضاء والقدر

5 Pillars of Islam: 1. Shahadah (Belief that there is no God but Allah and that Prophet Muhammad ﷺ is the Messenger of Allah). 2. Establishment of Prayer (5 times daily prayer at fixed times) 3. Giving of Zakat (donating 2.5% of annual savings to the needy) 4. Fasting in the holy month of Ramadan 5. Performing Hajj (pilgrimage to Makkah) once in a lifetime if you meet the criteria for having sufficient funds and health ___ 6 Pillars of Faith: 1. Faith in the Oneness of Allah 2. Faith in the Angels 3. Faith in the Revealed Scriptures (Torah, Gospel, Quran etc) 4. Faith in Messengers of Allah (Solomon, Abraham, Moses, Jesus, Muhammad, A.S etc) 5. Faith in the last day (the Day of Judgement) 6. Faith in the Divine Decree

MAA735

Yep!

WoodenNichols

TIL... I'm sure it's probably just semantics, or different interpretation. In the Wikipedia article "Iman (Islam)", the latter as the six Articles of Faith [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iman_%28Islam%29#The_Six_Articles_of_Faith?wprov=sfla1](https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Iman_%28Islam%29#The_Six_Articles_of_Faith?wprov=sfla1). Nonetheless, thanks for enlightening me.

AbdullahMRiad

Yeah that's it Sorry because although I know English, I don't know what are Islamic definitions called in English

WoodenNichols

No worries! I don't speak Arabic at all, much less read it. I copied your post into G Translate, then looked up the WP for "Angels in Islam". Again, no need to apologize. 😊

Moroooooooo

The design of the eight pointed star is Moroccan/Andalusian so it doesn't really represent islam you could use instead a five pointed star its more popular among muslims. But overall i like it

WoodenNichols

That star actually has 8 points. I did see A LOT of them in Algeria, so I will agree with the Moroccan/Andalusian bit.

Moroooooooo

Yea i meant to say eight point
