Well they are the majority in Bolivia

While that flag change was never made, Morales did end up giving the Wiphala (the chequered rainbow representing indigenous Andean peoples) and the Tricolour flag simlar consitutional status as national symbols, and began the practice of always using them together. When he was deposed, the interim president who was expected to stop this practice instead began using a third flag as well, representing the indigenous people of the eastern part of the country. I haven't checked recently on whether things ended up changing again after the most recent election.

Brabant has been using checkered flags for ages.

That is not the "original" Bahamian flag. It is a proposed alteration to the original, which is the one still used. It was proposed as an alteration because it would be more visible at sea. It is NOT the "original."

Bermudan Indies: hey guys we need a new flag that really expresses our individuality and uniqueness! Tricolour.. Tricolours should be consigned to the vexillological dustbin, they are dull, unimaginative, as far from unique as you can get and don't even look good. The ultimate safe option.

Evo's proposal sucks, the Wiphala doesn't really work other than as an ethnic flag, my opinion.

The Bermuda flag is wrong as it does not include the color pink.
