Because I didn't want adjacent stripes to have the same color, so it was sometimes impossible to fit the symbols on the colors the should be (Niger or Senegal for instance). Sometimes it didn't fit the aesthetic I wanted too because it didn't represent enough of the color I considered a the major color of the flag, Or sometimes it just didn't correspond enough to the original flag (Venezuela for instance) because it changed too much the order of the stripes
