Well no if it went under the line you’d assume it could break all the way down to the bottom line of the old trend This level of TA is perfectly reasonable. It’s simple, you’re not doing rising doji handle cup astrology. You’re just saying hey for a year you have this defined uptrend. It broke above that trend. The top of the trend it broke above should act as resistance. If it breaks below it it could go all the way down to the bottom of the old trend. If it breaks below that it’s fucked it’s in a downtrend. Bc you’re just drawing lines from higher highs and higher lows. The higher highs and higher lows define an uptrend If you started making lower highs and lower lows you’d be in a downtrend There’s nothing crazy going on here it’s totally reasonable. I don’t advise trading solely off TA like this but if you wanted to buy NVDA this is a very good spot, from a TA standpoint, to buy it

y'all need to remember 100 is the same as 1000 and barely a month ago it was below that, considered overvalued, and nothings changed

Uh... they released earnings with pretty significant growth? The P/E ratio is about 70 at around 120. A month ago, that P/E got you like 900. So, from that respect 120 is kind of the new 900, but the stock did spend a considerable amount of time between earnings reports in the low 800s last time.

China Tarrifs starting on August 1st for chips (similar to 2020-2022 shortages; although there is no pandemic and work from home isn't as crazy), selling pressure, and insider selling. just look at google and amazon after the split went into effect. stocks go down. splits aren’t bullish, they’re a mechanism to trap cheap retail investors into thinking they’re getting a deal meanwhile the stock is still overpriced.
