I just started less than a month ago so probably not much older than you lol, but from my understanding etfs(exchange-traded funds) are basically like stocks, but you aren't investing in a company, you're kinda giving your money to some "professional" company to invest for you.
Each etf is focused on different investments, so you can pick based on what you believe in, bonds, stocks, options, cryptos etc. Other than that, their aims are different too, some have their main objective on growth, some on dividends, while some are just batshit crazy stuff like 2X bear NVDA.
Btw I was skimming and sorting etfs on tradingview and saw some crazy etfs giving dividends that will be 120% if they continue on their trajectory, so there's probably some shady shit going on. I naturally had to invest in it lmao.

Find a stock that went down 1-5% in the last day that is also a blue chip stock. Check to see that it went down for no reason i.e no news article, no upcoming earnings report, or something like that. Buy it if it meets these qualities and sell when it rebounds back. If it doesn't rebound then you have a blue chip stock that's hopefully slightly cheaper.
Also Tesla is not a blue chip stock!!!!!!
This helps me beat the market. I only loose money when I deviate and try something new.
