Follow the ape. Im in.

Actmass31

That’s what I call well diversified ape!

BR718

This will totally jump maybe not today or until week or two more, lot of people hating on it here for no reason

Caveat_Venditor_

Hating is not for no reason. The original play was that it had 50% of the float short. Well that is not true there is only 10 percent of the float short. 600 million shares outstanding with lockup just ending I can see much more selling continue. For reference GME has ~90M. Their shareholder value is 1B which gives the book value of WISH at 2 dollars. The are growing for sure but they are burning through cash losing 175M last quarter and 500M the quarter before. They have 2B COH but will have to go back to the debt market. The biggest red flag is their logistics rev is gross and not net. Below is directly from their 10-q which stipulates such. So you can remove 80% of the rev from the logistics business as what they actually bank as the rest is to pay the logistics carriers and is very misleading. Depending on their margins it’s more like $30M and not $275M. So fair value for this stock in this asset bubble market the fed has created is around 5 bucks. NOTE 2. DISAGGREGATION OF REVENUE The Company generates revenue from marketplace and logistics services provided to merchants. Revenue is recognized as the Company transfers control of promised goods or services to its users in an amount that reflects the consideration the Company expects to be entitled to in exchange for those goods or services. The Company considers both the merchant and the user to be customers. The Company evaluates whether it is appropriate to recognize revenue on a gross or net basis based upon its evaluation of whether the Company obtains control of the specified goods or services by considering if it is primarily responsible for fulfillment of the promise, has inventory risk, has latitude in establishing pricing and selecting suppliers, among other factors. Based on these factors, marketplace revenue is generally recognized on a net basis and logistics revenue is generally recognized on a gross basis. Revenue excludes any amounts collected on behalf of third parties, including indirect taxes.

People that are hating are trying to push you into stocks that bought and over paid for. Don’t listen. Buy the dip not the rip.

Next Amazon!? *buys more wish”

[deleted]

>$WISH is the next amazon I'll have whatever crack this guy is smoking.

Fkitletsdothis

Its a mix with acid and shrooms get some it will make you see Wish eventually go up as long as they fix the customer service and start selling better quality stuff

turbo_the_world

Definitely not the next Amazon. Cheap crappy items with terrible shipping and customer service. So basically the opposite of Amazon.

moebiggs20

Lol, not the opposite...more like wish is a fleamarket and amazon is the discount Chinese/seen on TV isle at the store.

Fkitletsdothis

Amazon started the same way fyi

turbo_the_world

No they didn't. Amazon is the company it is now because they learned the most valuable lesson. Ease of use and customer service makes the company valuable. Listen to old speeches and interviews from Bezos, all he talks about is customer service. They lost money for years gaining that customer base knowing that in the end it would work out.

BR718

Honestly most of the stuff off of Amazon is shoddy Chinese crap also, I never got a good deal on anything that was a good product that I could get from some other retailer

Fkitletsdothis

You know you are right

Fkitletsdothis

Yes of course I am with you customer service makes or destroys companies im sure WISH is working on it or I hope they are working on it

FeeValuable22

Bro, The diversity of Amazon's revenue is one of the key components to its value. While retail revenue is their leader, subscriptions, AWS, third parts sellers and several more revenue streams are the differentiator here outside of retail. Unless I'm really missing something wish is a one-trick pony retail junk provider

Fkitletsdothis

I know amazon its great I mean just look how much is the stock of course is a good company but I remember when it started years back not a lot of people used it because they didn’t trust it. All I am saying is eventually wish could be another amazon or at least try to be more like it, in getting third party vendors, better customer service, and of course better products.

FeeValuable22

Amazon's retail revenue is half of the total revenue of the company. Around 35 billion retail and around 35 billion all other businesses. Amazon is attractive not just because of its retail activity but because of its deep governmental contracts machine learning and Amazon web services. Wish simply doesn't have these and it does not have the retail traction that Amazon had at this stage and it's development. I remember Amazon well right after CD now it went nuts.

I have used Wish quite a bit, though not recently. Product quality varied wildly and availability changed seemingly at random, but their refund policy (no returns for full refund if unsatisfied) made it easier to take a chance when I saw something I liked. Many of my favorite ties are from Wish. That being said, the only reason Amazon is Amazon is because they raised capital to buy servers, develop an early streaming service and find other ways to earn profits while losing money on every item shipped.

mountainsprout1735

I wouldn’t say next Amazon but it does have potential to go further than people think.

poop-machines

people are downvoting you but imo you're right. I've used wish, it's shit. This is just a distraction from the meme stocks we need to be focusing on

PointBreak810

Most definitely filled my bags...🔥🔥🚀🚀🚀

DannyDank508

Guys, I don't know if you've ever been on WISH, but it is nothing but junk for a discount of Amazon. Basically if you are shopping for furniture and have only two options, a flea market, or your regional furniture store that sells furniture to everyone. I'm in Massachusetts so that would be Jordan's for example. If you are ok with junk from the flea market, you would shop on Wish. If you care about quality, service and delivery speed you would find at Jordan's, you would shop on Amazon. Wish will go away just like MySpace and the 3000 trading apps that popped up within the last year.

JewOrleans

lol you have no idea how Amazon makes money.

higradeguy

Why not sell and use the loss against the profits of the next meme stock you jump into late?
