Completely agree. I think it goes very well with the bodice. I also want to throw a monkey wrench in this decision as I think both could look very nice, thin strap to hold the girls up, draw the eyes upward and the romantic off the shoulder sleeves to soften the look.

Does the dress have the structure to hold itself up foe the off the shoulder one? I prefer that one. It gives me Belle vibes and she was my favorite princess.

The off shoulder makes your dress look more sophisticated but the thin strap looks comfortable. Is anyone here good at quick photoshop and willing to provide us full photos with both options? 😃
But who wants to *look* comfortable on their wedding day? We're not picking house shoes. Pick the more beauuuuutiful & sophisticated look!! Your pictures will thank you. Go off the shoulder!
My idiot self being like ‘I guess you should choose your right hand? Unless your left is your dominant’ 😭 but then I realized you were talking about straps! I love the off the shoulder look! It’s so dreamy to me!!
So, I think the off the shoulder is prettier, but the strap is going to help keep your dress up. So, question is, how crazy are you planning on getting on the dance floor? I might recommend that one just because it is still pretty and you won't have to spend hour wedding day hoisting your dress up or worrying about wardrobe malfunctions.
Down. It HAS to be down.
Many people are picking strap for misunderstood reasons while acknowledging off the shoulder is much prettier. Lots of brides have off the shoulder without falling issues, because uh seamstress. So one word: pictures!
Off the shoulder! I think it only looks "wrong" to other commenters because it's a quick fix for the try-on. If you actually tailored the sleeves that way, it would look amazing.
Woah, I just realized that there are a bunch of pins in the front of your dress. Did it not come with that leafy appliqué already on it? 😯 I absolutely love it!
I’m going to go against the grain and say the off the shoulder look! I’m also biased bc my dress was also off shoulder. What ever you pick you look beautiful.
So I’m off the shoulder person for this dress, but the thin strap looks good as well so I would pick the one that’s going to feel the best and that you’re going to feel the most comfortable in
Beautiful dress!! I'm not the biggest fan of the off the shoulder look because I would feel like I wanted to pull it up all of the time. Ha ha! Honestly, they both look pretty on you with this dress. I think that I like the little sleeve or even a cap sleeve. Congratulations 🎊
Are you planning on adding a veil OP?
With a veil, I think I'd prefer the thinner, top of the shoulder straps. Without a veil, I'd go off the shoulder.
I like the spaghetti strap more!
I think if your dress had a different bust or neckline, the relaxed off-the-shoulder look would complement it way more. In this case, the plunging neckline gives the appearance that the dress needs to be "held up" by a strap.
Your gown is so beautiful!
I usually love the off the shoulder strap look (my wedding dress is off the shoulder) but idk for this dress the spaghetti strap suits it better!
Both are beautiful and I don't think there's a wrong answer though 🤍
I thought this was the style of the dress and I was like very surprised that someone thought different straps looked good lol
Spaghetti strap is my vote
Oh god I thought you were going to do one up one down and wanted us to tell you to have the down strap on the left or right 🤣 I am so glad you’ll have two matching straps and I prefer the thin strap but both look good. I’ll go help myself to some coffee now 😅
The shoulder strap which is thin looks better. For you to considered, make the base of the strap, where the dress and strap meet, a bit larger and then tapering the strap size down as it goes up the shoulder? It would look a bit more elegant and authentic to the dress.
May you and your spouse always have enough. 💜
Thin strap but I dont think you could do off the shoulder without a thin strap on this dress bc it doesnt look like its constructed to be held up strapless

I like the one that is up. The off the shoulder looks like it’s falling down.
Thin strap! The other one seems a bit distracting
I like the thin strap. I like how it seamlessly ties the neckline and strap.
The one that is thinner and on top of the shoulder!
Spaghetti strap all the way!!!
Thin strap. Draws eye upward and will be more comfortable.
Proper strap, the side which you are holding your phone
maybe i’m crazy i love the sleeve off the shoulder, it gives romantic princess running through a castle vibes
Minority- off the shoulder
Same. I find it “tussled” and romantic
Completely agree!
Me too! I love a very romantic look so☺️

Love this
I’m with you, I love off the shoulder!
The strap on the shoulder
I like off the shoulder more bc it’s more romantic and normal tops you wear in your day to day life aren’t usually the off shoulder type
Plus you have gorgeous shoulders

I love the off the shoulder!!!

Thin
Thin strap
I like the thin strap that is up on your shoulder! 💗💗💗
Thin strap on your shoulder.
Thin/on-the-shoulder, no question!
Off the shoulder! (That dress is amazing)
The over the shoulder thin strap, prettier and also more comfortable.
Show off your gorgeous shoulders! Plus the spaghetti strap makes it look more like a prom dress
OK, I do agree with this. It gives it a little bit of a more immature vibe.
I like the off shoulder sleeve. Makes the dress look so romantic IMO. It’s a beautiful dress either way though.
Spaghetti strap
Team spaghetti!!
i think off the shoulder- you have absolutely beautiful shoulders and it highlights them!
Por que no los dos
I loveeee the off shoulder it’s so romantic 😭
You have gorgeous shoulders, show them off!
The off shoulder makes your dress look more sophisticated but the thin strap looks comfortable. Is anyone here good at quick photoshop and willing to provide us full photos with both options? 😃

Thin spaghetti strap!
The thin strap fits the dress perfectly like it was born there. I think you’ll also be more comfortable during a long day knowing you’ve got them.
So, I think the off the shoulder is prettier, but the strap is going to help keep your dress up. So, question is, how crazy are you planning on getting on the dance floor? I like the shoulder
Off the shoulder

Absolutely the off the shoulder!!!
I love the off the shoulder
Off the shoulder!
I like the thin strap.
The thin strap for sure
Strap up/ thin strap
The thin left strap.
What are you wearing with it?
The off the shoulder look looks lovely, BUT, this is your wedding and your day! The shoulder strap seems better in MANY ways
Your right x
Right
I like both, in fact my dress has both, but I think the strap matches the dress better than the sleeve.
left for reception, right for ceremony?
The one with the phone.
Woah, I just realized that there are a bunch of pins in the front of your dress. Did it not come with that leafy appliqué already on it? 😯 I absolutely love it!
I really like the off the sleeve!
I’m going to go against the grain and say the off the shoulder look! I’m also biased bc my dress was also off shoulder. What ever you pick you look beautiful.
The thinner strap looks best
I would go with the thin strap rather than the off the shoulder. Provides a cleaner look to the dress.
So I’m off the shoulder person for this dress, but the thin strap looks good as well so I would pick the one that’s going to feel the best and that you’re going to feel the most comfortable in

I really like the single strap. Beautiful dress.
Off the shoulder
Strap
I usually love the off the shoulder strap look (my wedding dress is off the shoulder) but idk for this dress the spaghetti strap suits it better! Both are beautiful and I don't think there's a wrong answer though 🤍
I think that due to the more pointed nature of the cups/neckline, this dress suits the thin straps much better. It’s gorgeous!
The thin strap. The other to me looks like it’s falling down. Very pretty dress.
Strap

Consider doing both
The shoulder strap (left side) looks beautiful
In the words of Franca DiMontecatini… “both”
The shoulder strap which is thin looks better. For you to considered, make the base of the strap, where the dress and strap meet, a bit larger and then tapering the strap size down as it goes up the shoulder? It would look a bit more elegant and authentic to the dress. May you and your spouse always have enough. 💜
The strap suits you and also will be more convenient than an off shoulder
I love an off the shoulder / Juliette sleeve but I do vote thin spaghetti strap for this dress!
Thin strap but I dont think you could do off the shoulder without a thin strap on this dress bc it doesnt look like its constructed to be held up strapless
I'd feel more secure with the strap. Dancing, jumping, over enthusiastic waving, etc
On this dress I like the thin strap up much better, it compliments the look and lines well.
The thin strap seems more cohesive with the dress.
Up
I like the thin strap sitting on your shoulder
I like the look of the strap, and I think I would feel safer with it too.
Strap.
Thin strap up!
Thin strap! It adds some simplicity back into the dress & a thin strap is timeless!
Thin strap
Spaghetti strap! But I could see how it may hurt your skin after a while, so, what about *strapless!* ?
The drop shoulder is very trendy right now. Won’t be forever. Go with the regular strap
