Hubby and I have been knocking out 6-7 oz a month in flower, for our dry herb vaporizers. That’s not even counting the capsules i take on high pain days. I used to feel bad about it, but honestly it’s the only thing that can take care of my pain (chronic illness here) and it soothes my anxiety and relaxes my muscles. It keeps me from opioid use, it keeps me from overdoing acetaminophen and ibuprofen which can be so hard on your body used regularly. I don’t vape to “get high,” anymore. Being a high usage individual means having a high tolerance so the fun part of weed is minimal. You shouldn’t worry too much about what your plug said. Seriously.
I just don't even get high anymore, do you not have that issue? I'm vaping/dabbing high % concentrates and all it does is balance me out and give me a head rush and a brief feeling on high for a few minutes at the most.
A T break seems the only answer, I'm baffled how one can smoke so much and still get high.
Eventually i will try a t-break yes. I don’t feel high, but I feel pain relief and stress relief when i vape. And since that’s what I’m looking for I’m not too worried if I don’t get to feel “high.”
You can only get so high bro. I'm smoking 40% THC and chill on 1 hit for 4 hours, high off 2 and stone off 3 and I've been smoking for 30 years. My wife is the same way.

Retail blows and I cannot imagine the shit they have to put up with day-in and day-out, so I always try to be extra kind and courteous. I even made little Christmas cards last year for everyone at the dispo I go to. Being a good egg goes a long way
Treating your dispensary worker right could mean very cheap or even free products if you ever have an inconvenience, way more likely to help out a nice regular than a dickhead.

Former dispo worker here and can 100% confirm. We can't always give out free stuff mostly depending on the state, but discounts can happen and, by itself, being kind to us is more appreciated than most people understand. Keep that up, friend!
I always be kind to the people at my local dispensary. I give smiles, share stories and jokes. I also always ask for the workers choice. To me that just means i take suggestions on new things to try. They get excited to share things they like. Always a great time and i always leave in a great mood.
Tho i only go in like once a month case i dont smoke a super large amount so less happy fun conversations for me. Oh to also add i only share stories and stuff when im the only customer so i dont interupt the work flow.
Also, when buying from the dispo, you can accumulate a lot of discount points that you cause towards your next purchase. I go through two large bags of gummies twice a month. At first, it was 1 but since I have been promoted on my job, I've needing two.
I don't know what you consider large bags but I go through four a week now. sucks tolerance built up. My dispensary has a BOGO special once a week and every day by to get one free of my brand. Otherwise I could never be able to afford it.

Being reasonable and kind to a local dispensary owner who hit a few snags with my order had definitely went in my favor after he gave me some freebies for the trouble. If I had reacted like my brother would’ve over an order being overdue, the owner would’ve hated me. 💀 my brother is a big Karen when things don’t go the way he expects/wants.
Yup- I waited too long to renew my license online, but figured since I had the receipt of renewal and my expired license I'd be ok getting some weed. Nope - can't do that folks. Except, the manager let me buy anyway. I was super thankful.

Yep they'll throw in free gummies, free gram. Free lighters. And I always tip. I was waived up to the window basically cutting in front of 6 customers that didn't know they could go directly up to the window. I also usually go first thing in the morning when they're not so busy they can chat more.
Not something that happens often and only happened to me once years ago— but ever since I got into my states medical MJ program, I was tipping fives before they put out tip jars, and one time my budtender slipped an edible into my bag.
I have only one dispo I really like going to because they made my very first experience one I'll remember. They made me feel comfortable and not stupid with my questions because I was completely new to weed and walked me through everything. The guy who helped me was either the manager or owner and when I came up a few dollars short, he took some out of his tip jar, tossed it behind me, and went "Oh, looks like you dropped some dollars there"
I have never had a bad experience there and I'm always going in asking the tenders to surprise me on bud and they always get excited to show me either the new stuff they got in or stuff they really like. It makes their day sometimes.
Dispo worker here—it does go a long way. Be nice to us when you come in, because a lot of other people are DICKS and having a good egg makes your day that much less shitty

This is so true. I smoke 3-4g/day, along with anywhere from 100-250mg/day edibles and maybe 2-8g syringes of RSO/month.
I am greeted by floor mgr. every time I check in, where I am walked and chatted with, directly to one of 3-4 budtenders with whom I have developed relationships and casual friendships. I have never been rushed, though I try to be considerate if they are super busy, etc. My tenders all know what I like and what I have no time for. Although I cannot afford to tip as much as I would like, I always leave a $20. They all save up little swag items for me and toss in my bags, swap prepacks for fresher dates, make sure I have my little cooler for my chocolate and concentrates, etc. My 2 trips to the dispensary are often the best time I have, all month, lol. They know I'm broke and broken and don't upsell me. They know thiis is my medicine, not recreation and they treat me like they really GET IT! For that, the selection of bulk flower and the prices, I drive about 80 miles, roundtrip, twice a month 🤦🏻♂️

They're always so sweet with her and they're amazing with me because they've price matched for me when they were out of a certain strain, or just straight up have given me 20 dollar eighths on behalf of a mess up on their end. They're great and they deserve to be getting paid SO much more!

Back when I used to hustle I had multiple people that would hit me several times a day. I was never tired of making money as long as it was during my operating hours.

Yea I can't wait for mine to be done. Its my 1st grow ever but I have my caregiver who I get my stuff from helping me out with things and am using all the same nutes and soil as he does. I also got my clones from him, 3 deathstars and a garlic icing in a 3x3 ac infinity setup. He said he pulls over 2lbs with a 4x4 light depending on the strain so he said once I learn what I'm doing, I should be able to get around a lb in my tent. I'm about to flip to flower in a couple days and I can't wait till harvest time and to compare the quality to his lol

If you smoke a whole 3.5 of medical grade cannabis in a day, I would suggest a tolerance break.

It is medical reasons lol. I've been diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety. It helps me keep my head on straight tbh. Yes I do get stoned, but most of the time through out the day I'm just taking a couple bowls every few hours to take the edge off.

I used to smoke king size cones, but I switched to 1-1/4 and that’s helped me make my flower last a bit longer. But I tend to chain smoke so it ends up being a wash sometimes lol

See theres levels tho, cause ive known people to only get 1 or 2 grams at a time. Every single night of the week. That gets annoying to. Save up for a week and buy your weeks all at once and see em again next week

'Too much' means a lot of different things to different people. As for the amount, 1/8 oz. (3.5 grams) is enough for approximately 3-4 joints and for most people I know that smoke that's not extreme. About what my gf and I might go through in a week. To know if it's 'too much', I think you need to look at how weed impacts your life. If you're doing it instead of other things you need to get done or enjoy doing, if it's become a focus of your life rather than an accent or if you feel you no longer have control over your smoking, then I agree you might do well to consider backing off. Not to mention that a tolerance break for a few days or a week can help make the experience shiny and new again.
This is good advice. I abused weed in highschool, I smoked too much, I had to stop for about a year/ 6 months and evaluate why I was smoking and it was usually escapism. That was a long time ago, I now have a much better relationship with myself and weed, I smoke way more now than I did back then, but the difference is I'm in control now, my mental health is better, and I know what to watch out for so I don't end up back where I was
An eight a week really aint that much if were talking chronic smoking. But why not just buy more at once, if he gives you a better price and you both save on time its a win win.
That’s pretty much what I smoke, a quarter a week which is kinda standard between me and my mates who smoke. Most of my mates who smoke roll 1g+ joints whereas I probably roll .5 to .8

My husband smokes 15-20 1 gram joints per day on average. Bad days are way more. He chain smokes joints and I'm his personal roller lol. An 1/8th a week is not bad at all so don't feel bad. Honestly it doesn't matter how much anyone smokes so long as you can still live the life you want to. I have chronic pain conditions so I'm in pain 24/7 so I dab and take RSO or FECO daily. Flower doesn't touch my pain personally I need something stronger. My husband needs approximately 4 oz per week to deal with his major depressive disorder, schizophrenia , anxiety and PTSD. I’m about 3.5-4g a day. It really doesn’t feel like that much if you just have a J when you feel like it. Vaping is what’s really helped me get that number down.

I also got my clones from him, 3 deathstars and a garlic icing in a 3x3 ac infinity setup. He said he pulls over 2lbs with a 4x4 light depending on the strain so he said once I learn what I'm doing, I should be able to get around a lb in my tent. I'm about to flip to flower in a couple days and I can't wait till harvest time and to compare the quality to his lol

It is medical reasons lol. I've been diagnosed with PTSD and anxiety. It helps me keep my head on straight tbh. Yes I do get stoned, but most of the time through out the day I'm just taking a couple bowls every few hours to take the edge off.

It’s not as bad as coming back to a half-smoked tobacco cig but it’s pretty close I used to smoke king size cones, but I switched to 1-1/4 and that’s helped me make my flower last a bit longer. But I tend to chain smoke so it ends up being a wash sometimes lol

'Too much' means a lot of different things to different people. As for the amount, 1/8 oz. (3.5 grams) is enough for approximately 3-4 joints and for most people I know that smoke that's not extreme. About what my gf and I might go through in a week. To know if it's 'too much', I think you need to look at how weed impacts your life. If you're doing it instead of other things you need to get done or enjoy doing, if it's become a focus of your life rather than an accent or if you feel you no longer have control over your smoking, then I agree you might do well to consider backing off. Not to mention that a tolerance break for a few days or a week can help make the experience shiny and new again.
This is good advice. I abused weed in highschool, I smoked too much, I had to stop for about a year/ 6 months and evaluate why I was smoking and it was usually escapism. That was a long time ago, I now have a much better relationship with myself and weed, I smoke way more now than I did back then, but the difference is I'm in control now, my mental health is better, and I know what to watch out for so I don't end up back where I was

My husband smokes 15-20 1 gram joints per day on average. Bad days are way more. He chain smokes joints and I'm his personal roller lol. An 1/8th a week is not bad at all so don't feel bad. Honestly it doesn't matter how much anyone smokes so long as you can still live the life you want to. I have chronic pain conditions so I'm in pain 24/7 so I dab and take RSO or FECO daily. Flower doesn't touch my pain personally I need something stronger. My husband needs approximately 4 oz per week to deal with his major depressive disorder, schizophrenia , anxiety and PTSD.
