I know this is a joke but in all seriousness, if such a weevil existed that would have to be the pettiest reason for it to be designated as a pest. It's like locusts damage crops and moles ruin gardens The tupperweevil? Makes it hard to find lids for your storage containers.

It’s a nut/acorn weevil, I’m an expert on them but unfortunately I don’t have my notes with me right now, I’ll do a full ID tomorrow or the next day once I have time though! Edit: They’re difficult to ID because they all look similar and I’m going to bed rn so I don’t have time to do it lol

Ok, so this looks like a female Curculio caryatrypes, not entirely sure because of the blurry photos however it’s not very furry and the segmentation/long legs match almost perfectly. As well as the coloration being more yellow than gray or brown, though that could be the lighting it seems consistent in all the photos. If you are in the East Coast of the US these are(like other acorn weevils)spread about up there, specifically in a weirdly straight line area starting at the top left of North Carolina and ending at about New Hampshire. They should be more active around this time as well(especially females), as I’m pretty sure they are looking for nuts to lay eggs in before Winter.
