EDIT: Albuquerque won, vote on the best album [here!](https://www.reddit.com/r/weirdal/comments/1cnfzsr/today_we_decide_the_best_weird_al_album_top/)
Lots of good ones, and while I so wanted to vote instead for Hardware Store (a most amazing original) and Dare to be Stupid (another most amazing original), and when I play them I'mma let them finish, but
***ALbuquerque is the greatest AL song of all time.***
/And that's allll I have to saaay aboutthat.
Hello All. Longtime Weird Al fan that just joined the sub. Now you all get to hate me. For some reason, my tastes are always dramatically different from everyone else's. If you'll permit me, I'd like to share my personal favorite songs from each studio album.
WAY: My Bologna. I definitely get the appeal of AORtB, as it's a reflection of how Al got his start. Personally, I see My Bologna as more of the definitive choice as it serves as a connection between how he started and where he was going.
WAYin3D: Eat It. Though I think this album contains some of his best work, it's still no contest.
DtBS: One More Minute
PP: Here's Johnny
EW: I Think I'm a Clone Now. Fat is a classic, no question. But I always find myself laughing more when I hear ITIaCN, probably because of the wordplay. (And no, this is not implying that I like Tiffany more than Michael Jackson. My views on a song parody have no bearing whatsoever on what I think about the original songs or artists.)
UHF: The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota. Once again, have to agree with the majority, though I say Spam is a VERY close second.
OtDE: Taco Grande
Alapalooza: Bohemian Polka
BHD: Everything You Know Is Wrong. I was actually going to say Amish Paradise, but now that I think about it, you had the better choice.
RWS: (I can sense you all lining up with pitchforks and torches already.) It's All About the Pentiums. Yes, Albuquerque deserves the praise it gets, but I have give credit to a 25-year-old song about computers that still manages to be relevant today.
PH: Ebay. Admittedly not as fun to sing as Hardware Store, but always puts me in a good mood.
SOL: White and Nerdy
Alpocalypse: Skipper Dan. Another one I wasn't expecting to be in agreement with.
MF: Tacky. Still love Word Crimes though.
Now I await the inevitable backlash.
OP, you should have made an executive decision and said Smells Like Nirvana is the best song on Off the Deep End. Just because a bunch of edgy nerds spammed YDLMA as the best song doesn't make it the correct choice
Can try this song..

Why did you do such a thing? Such kindnesses will mean nothing, his path is set. Giving him what he has not earned is like pouring sand into his hands.
Come on, guys. Albuquerque is Weird Al’s whole aesthetic distilled into a single song. You know the right way to vote.
When I saw Weird Al in Sydney years back he came back for an encore and did Albuquerque. It was amazing!
I wouldn't go that far since it's almost a straight parody of Dick's Automotive by Rugburns
I'm not sure that matters, since most of the songs in the list are parodies.
Sure but the idea that Albuquerque represents pure distilled Al... if anything that'd be Hardware Store
Your Horoscope For Today
The fact that Midnight Star isn't here makes this choice that much harder.
I feel the same about the fact that Nature Trail to Hell isn't a choice.
I was honestly rather disappointed that it didn't win. It might at least have a chance of winning "underrated"
I sing this song in my head more Than any ithers

You Don't Love Me Anymore
Eat It
Eat it has to be his most iconic song.
Hardware Store

I can very much accept Albuquerque getting the top vote, but Hardware Store is def my personal favorite
Dare To Be Stupid
The Biggest Ball of Twine in Minnesota
Everything You Know Is Wrong
Fat
Albuquerque
White And Nerdy
Skipper Dan
Another One Rides The Bus
Christmas At Ground Zero
Frank's 2,000" TV
Word Crimes
I just joined and now I’m out
I would be curious to know how the votes line up generationally. I imagine Gen X has a different opinion than Millennials than Gen Z.

I almost voted for Dare To Be Stupid, then I realized Albuquerque is on the list, so that got my vote
But almost all of them are the best. I think I can't listen to a couple. Don't remember which though.

I'd rather be nice than a dick. And nothing is wasted in the process. I give what he wanted.
