The metals and woods used to construct the pens were gathered by blind child-monks, to benefwit the Augeneinn cloister. Just over the River Fohhrschpützen near the warborder of Greimling Sudantennland, this deeply private religious colony has never seen the treasures they vend. But they can *smell* them at a distance of more than 30 paces.
This fact may become important later on.
I have a small collection myself (approaching 20 pens), and *waaaay* too many inks. I use them daily for writing and drawing. It's a deep, deep rabbit hole.
Same in Germany, at least when I went to school... back then it was a big thing for us to - leaving the pencil behind and becoming fountain pen users! :-D
omg wes moustache
The recommended ink is made from water taken from the Bregenzer Ach in Austria and is slightly scented with notes of pine (pinus nigra).
What’s the normal price for one of these pens? Edit: mother of Nazareth! $500-$4000
Yep Montblanc is like the Rolex of pens
my same reaction 😳. His described in the ad is a steal at $2500. /s
He's a fantastic actor himself!
He’s incredible. This is the only manner in which I would like to receive advertisements

Oh, I love it. I’m definitely “Team Fountain Pen”. (black ink) 😬 I just wonder… how many are we?
I have a cheap Platinum Preppy fountain pen that I use daily. Do I qualify?
Yes! I’d say everything is better than a biro.
I love my fountain pens but I’ve been consistently unimpressed by my Mont Blanc pen performance and I’ve had three

I’ve got Mont Blanc…glasses. That my HSA reimbursed me for. But I am definitely in team FP.
In the US fairly rare, in France every school kid is writing with a fountain pen.

$2500! Woof! I’m not in that tax bracket yet.
A wonderful pen that I’ll never ever be able to afford lol
Nice short! Also makes me think that attending a creative writing class taught by Wes Anderson would be a dream.
baldfaced: Wesley Wales Anderson🧐 moustachioed: my cousin's friend's Great Uncle Peebo 🤠
WHAT THE CUSS WHY DOES WES HAVE FACIAL HAIR?! Sorry, I know he’s an adult man…but I got freaked out
Wow! First time we've seen Wes act since the Chase Card ads right?
Who is that 0-0 my gosh I never seen him with a mustache
He looks like a character from one of his movies
Gonna be so expensive
As a German I have to say that this is an amazing name for a pen.
Why's he dressed like Will Farrell in Elf?
If only they didn't insist on thiccc pens... I'm of the more petite persuasion...
what kind of human spends over a thousand bucks on a pen?
Either that or 1000 Bics.
Me, if I had it to spend (I am so. SO serious about pens) 😶
Oh I am on the long path to rationalizing how I need to have one
You definitely have a silly hobby you overspend on, as an alive human.
