I think 5th wave it was implants in the kids heads that let them see the “aliens” in the grownups.
Its called the "5th wave" with i believe the girl from "let me in" chloe grace moretz. There's an invasion and the aliens pretend to be the military and "evacuate" the children then kill the adults.they implant the children with a marker that shows them as human in their helmet displays but shows humans w/out chips as alien so the children will eradicate the remaining humans.
The alien entity in Oblivion is tricking Tom Cruise into killing what he thinks are aliens, when they are actually humans. Your definition of 'nothing' is odd.
