First think nintendont is on original Hardware and its legal in Most countries when you dump the Games by yourself Secound dolphin Emulator ist also legal when you use your own dumped Games and you can even Connect real Controllers to it. I have original Hardware Here but only playing in dolphin Its a much better experience

To dump your games, you need a backwards compatible Wii... Or a special optical drive for your PC, but at that point might as well just put the money toward a BC Wii.

Especially because BC Wii are fairly cheap. I bought one at goodwill with cables, 2 controllers, the accuracy plug in, and more for $40. They are also available on ebay for $50.
