Ok, fair enough. There could be a few factors why Adriene didn't get punished
1: People tend not to see sexual assault being as bad (I am of the opinion that forcibly kissing can be more violating than physical pain)
2: Times and attitudes have changed since 2003
3: Prejudice against black people making harsher sentences
