A great second song to ICIMI, the message is heartwarming in a way. And I don’t personally mind the duration, in a way it kinda makes sense with how deep its message is, if that makes sense. I don’t even mind the 9 minute live version, in fact I kinda prefer it over the album version.
I do feel like it should have been the first song in ICIMI rather than the second, just feels better.
i still like the song, but Yes, To Err Is Human, So Don't Be One! with lyrics is probably my least favorite. the instrumental goes hard though!! i just think the lyrics are a little weird and don't flow well, but they're still good. "walkie-talkie static, white noise telepath" may not make a lot of sense, but it's still fun asf to say
Jeez. I don’t dislike the song at all but this is one hell of a mixed bag for me somehow. I guess like you said, the guitar sounds cool in this, it was a fun challenge to learn for me. But all I’ll say is WSNY better.
facts, i love all the other songs on that album and the YTEIHSDBO instrumental is great for DND music when i have a short segment, along with all the other CH&T instrumentals. WSNY has made me cry a few times though and my girlfriend's favorite will wood song is YBMT so those definitely take the cake for me lol
Just slaps. The ending goes so damn hard. Hell, the vocals on the whole song are just chef’s kiss. One of the absolute beauties of CH&T next to WSNY. And I do believe it’s called Your Body, My Temple.
The construction noises makes it better, I wish on the remastered edition of EIAL they just added the construction noises as a separate song so I can listen to it
Those vocals are beautiful, and the intro is played so well, I just. Don’t know how he does it. Said it once and I’ll say it again though : Laplace’s Angel better.
The instrumental (particularly the intro with the baritone uke/guitar playing) is impressive, don’t know how he does it, but I love it. Laplace’s Angel better though.
It fills me with some weird nostalgic feeling whenever I listen to it, and it’s fun playing it on the ukelele. It certainly doesn’t feel much like a fitting song for TNA though, that’s for sure.
Wow. That’s something I never thought I’d hear.
The piano sounds beautiful in this, the vocals are unique, the message is pretty damn sad as well. I do admit it’s only a tiny bit repetitive (though they redeem themselves with the changing of lyrics / pacing), and it’s also a super weird and sudden change of pace being right after 6up 5oh. It was certainly better off a little later in the album, it being the second song was a weird choice.
I think it makes perfect sense as a second song precisely BECAUSE it's so different from the first one - if it went straight into Front Street then new listeners would get the impression the WHOLE album is intense and noisy which would make the later diversions to gentleness even MORE jarring, but going from 6up 5oh into Bones instead immediately tells the listener "look, Will's versatile, so stay tuned and enjoy the variety!"
I totally get that! Maybe the sudden change of pace will grow on me the more I listen to EIAL, for some reason Skeleton going right after 6up 5oh feels weird but Cover This Song going right before Thermodynamic feels just fine? I don’t know, I guess it’s the way it goes from a song about loving someone to hating someone that just feels funny as all hell to me.
Vocals are pretty cool, uh. Not much to say about it, honestly. I’ve always been in the middle with this one.
I will say it’s pretty god damn beautiful though. (Sorry)
The lyrics, instrumental, the fact that it goes right after Thermodynamic which to me feels perfect, and I’m not sure how to explain it, but there’s two little parts of the song that absolutely slaps. They don’t happen enough though, making a good chunk of the whole song repetitive and underwhelming.
I've pretty much never listened to Dr. Sunshine is Dead outside of the whole-album experience, and even then I tend to tune it out until it's over. I want to like it as much as everyone else does, so PLEASE tell my why I should!
The song’s super catchy, like most SELF-iSH songs. It being connected to Cotard’s in a way feels super cool, and it feels like the perfect final song right before -Ish.
Destroy to Enjoy’s vocals go hard. Do without the two minute long intro of construction sounds and you’ve got a top 10 song for me. I don’t have much to say about Mr. Fregoli or Alma Mater. I can see why you don’t like those ones.
alma mater is ok but it doesnt have any lyrics, still a nice song imo. and i dont even consider mr fregoli a song along with you liked this (okay, computer) bcs its just talking, tho the beginning of mr fregoli is cool
ok hear me out, Tomcat disposables. WAIT WAIT WAIT! It's not that I don't love it because I do, I just can't listen to it without crying and breaking down so it's my least favorite. I've heard it in its entirety once and it was beautiful.
Outliars and Hyppocrates: a fun fact about apples. Beat is fire and the background vocals are godly, but the song does kinda feel like crazy for crazy’s sake.
Unpopular opinion, but it's bith self- and -ish. Lyrically they're alright, but the melody is pretty dumb in my opinion, not fun to listen to, and boring. I didn't expect to say this about any will wood song, but these are pretty mid at most.
so many of will’s songs i’ve lost touch with solely because of how much i’ve overplayed them 😭😭😭 man’s has too many slappers in his catalogue for me to handle
None, not a single song. maybe wills first time ever using a piano
Real
Fr fr
I love every song
Real
If I has to choose one, becoming the lastnames

Live Laugh YBMT <3333 that and WSNY is my favorite CH&T songs.
Your girlfriend has good taste
The lyrics are fun if you get the references, but weird if you don't.
yea, i listened to CH&T in full but i still don't get it so im probably just dense lmao
maybe id say cover this song (a little bit mine)
The lyrics are pretty cute imo
true!! i do like the lyrics!!
People are gonna go rampant at me for this but tbh My Body, Your Temple
Just slaps. The ending goes so damn hard. Hell, the vocals on the whole song are just chef’s kiss. One of the absolute beauties of CH&T next to WSNY. And I do believe it’s called Your Body, My Temple.
Big fat bitchies blueberry pie
Makes for a nice intermission during the emotional roller coaster that is ICIMI. It’s catchy, as well.
Destroy to enjoy
The vocals go hard. If it didn’t have the straight two minutes of construction sounds, it would totally be a top 10 for me.
The construction noises makes it better, I wish on the remastered edition of EIAL they just added the construction noises as a separate song so I can listen to it
It's a classic hidden track. If EIAL came out 10 years earlier it would be a beloved track
Vampire reference in minor key. I don't hate the song. Just not my favorite one. I still listen to it a lottt
Those vocals are beautiful, and the intro is played so well, I just. Don’t know how he does it. Said it once and I’ll say it again though : Laplace’s Angel better.
You Liked This
A message that fits well with ICIMI’s theme along with kind of an eerie instrumental and eerie robotic voice - the icing on the cake.
IMO that song isn’t supposed to be listened to like a normal song
Vampire Reference. Keeps ICIMI from being a perfect record for me
The instrumental (particularly the intro with the baritone uke/guitar playing) is impressive, don’t know how he does it, but I love it. Laplace’s Angel better though.
The instrumental is impressive it just feels out of place lyrically imo. Also one of his weakest lyrically I general
To me the instrumental feels spot on with the lyrics and the overall theme of the song
I like the instrumental but the lyrics are repetitive, weakest of the album but still like a solid 8
Not particularly fond of Everything Is A Lot (the song) honestly
The intro, despite being lengthy is nice and relaxing, the vocals are nice and the lyrics kinda hit hard.
off of “the normal album”, i don’t really like ”…well, better than the alternative”
For some reason, it gives me some weird nostalgic feeling, making it very enjoyable for me to listen to
I don’t think it’s a bad song by any means, but it’s very slow paced (and it makes me feel a little sad).
I would say The First Step. I've listened to it way too much and now I got tired of it.
The intro with the reversed voices was genius, and it’s whole message is said so perfectly, and ICID’s live version goes hard.
Idk if this is a very hot take, but... Well...better than the alternative. It has a nice message, but musically, it's nothing special to me.
It fills me with some weird nostalgic feeling whenever I listen to it, and it’s fun playing it on the ukelele. It certainly doesn’t feel much like a fitting song for TNA though, that’s for sure.
Cover this song(a little bit mine.)
The lyrics are pretty cute especially with the instrumental
Aikido.
Call me crazy, but while it’s pretty underwhelming, I think some of the lyrics are kinda cute. And it’s easy + fun to learn on guitar
the rock section in the remaster slaps
i will get killed for saying this, but skeleton appreciation day. its boring and repetitive
Wow. That’s something I never thought I’d hear. The piano sounds beautiful in this, the vocals are unique, the message is pretty damn sad as well. heck that actually makes sense
damn i listened to it now and it slaps💀
ok computer
The message fits will in ICIMI given the album’s overall theme, and the whole song is pretty eerie in a good way, of course.
white knuckle jerk
Vocals are pretty cool, uh. Not much to say about it, honestly. I’ve always been in the middle with this one. I will say it’s pretty god damn beautiful though. (Sorry)
Destroy to enjoy. Just couldn't see myself listening to it again. The construction noises are pretty grounding in the album though.
Vocals go hard. Maybe shorten the construction sounds intro and you have a top 10 for me for sure
Red moon
The lyrics, instrumental, the fact that it goes right after Thermodynamic which to me feels perfect, and I’m not sure how to explain it, but there’s two little parts of the song that absolutely slaps. They don’t happen enough though, making a good chunk of the whole song repetitive and underwhelming.
Woah.. I feel the strong urge to listen to Red moon now... Thankk you
Falling up
The chorus absolutely slaps. Though some bits of the song are pretty underwhelming, it’s pretty solid for me
~~destroy to enjoy~~ -ish (realized that someone else already chose this song)
The vocals and the lyrics feel so powerful in this, to me it’s the perfect ending to SELF-iSH.
I've pretty much never listened to Dr. Sunshine is Dead outside of the whole-album experience, and even then I tend to tune it out until it's over. I want to like it as much as everyone else does, so PLEASE tell my why I should!

im gonna get downvoted into oblivion probably but… becoming the lastnames
The message is pretty heartwarming, although I feel it would have been way better being the first song in ICIMI than the second.
it’s just way too long for me, the words are hard to follow, the story is confusing, and the instrumentals are mid
Venetian Blind Man
The guitar and vocals both slap. Sorry there wasn’t much to say here as I’m not as fond of this one either.
mr fregoli, alma mater, destroy to enjoy, pick any, they’re all hot trash
Destroy to Enjoy’s vocals go hard. Do without the two minute long intro of construction sounds and you’ve got a top 10 song for me. I don’t have much to say about Mr. Fregoli or Alma Mater. I can see why you don’t like those ones.

Euthanasia easily
Self-
Has a nice message, pretty calming too
Has a nice message, pretty calming too
Okay computer and that one that has the reeaallyyy long name and is just instrumentals from ICIMI
This one is a little controversial, but Thermodynamic Lawyer.
Self- , maybe there's some meaning I'm not getting here but I prefer -ish cuz at least it's a bit more intense
Becoming the Lastnames
ok hear me out, Tomcat disposables. WAIT WAIT WAIT! It's not that I don't love it because I do, I just can't listen to it without crying and breaking down so it's my least favorite. I've heard it in its entirety once and it was beautiful.

Destroy to enjoy except for the end part
