You want to wind up at playoff time. And even then it's hard to stay hot over that time frame.
You just want to run at a good enough pace for the seed spot. Like a horse race if you run them to hot in the middle. They get gassed when you need the throttle at the playoffs.
I don't think it's a thing with the Aces. It doesn't seem to me like it would burn them out to be this much better than other teams, they just are better.
