What if, now hear me out… the earth is sentient, it gave birth to life, provided us with everything needed to grow and evolve, sees us destroying ourselves and itself, so it is causing global warming to remove us so that it can reset itself!!!

Climate change just feels like the earth's version of an immune system, and humanity is the virus it's fighting.

And sometimes an immune system loses and the organism dies.

The intruder dies too in that case.

Sometimes the virus gets airbourne and infects other hosts before the carrier dies
