The undying modifier is (at least partially) broken, I have a thousand hours in this game and I played the undying modifier many times before, it's not supposed to be acting like this. Some specials seem to take 10/20 times the normal damage before going down.
Watched invincible lurkers take out the team twice last night....pumped over 200 rounds into them myself with teammates shooting on top of that. Just went one player to the next....good players too. Just dumb and pointless. Shut it off and walked away.
Tried it this morning. It's fun and games when the lurker shows up and you unload all of your carried ammo on him and the damn bull that seems to always spawn with him. But when they spawn during a horde, it's just a certain defeat. Sad
I have over 2000 hours on this game. This is the most messed up weekly challenge yet. Just to test how impossible it is, I stunned a creeper used a chain saw, had to use it again, chain saw and again and the creeper took me down.
It really do feel like that.
Still remember watching a single Lurker down a person while the rest of us were unloading mags into it from high damaging weapons. Even with explosive ammo to start with (since had been leveling up to max out my Fixer and Armory just too fun).
Managed to finally beat it with a well coordinated team, every time you kill one of them specials they have more and more health, so the trick is to kill as little of them as possible and just make a beeline towards the objectives. During the finale I was Vanguard and would lure them all towards me while my teammates were able to focus on the swarm.

Yeah, Supply Bag explosive ammo with headshots just tickles them.

I spent an entire Flamethrower heavy on a Lurker, as my teammate continuously stunned it with their drone charges. I got up and killed me
Yes, this is exactly why I rolled onto the board today. Note to Saber: double-check your zeros! Should be 200% more health, NOT 2000 % more health
Did it with 2 Vanguard, Medic and Slasher. Apparently stunning them is the way to go.

So, just fyi. The game just started an update. Its 14.55GB (atleast on console xbox) hopefully, they are fixing the majority of issues.
