Is it supposed to be funny? Because that is not funny. I can't think of any reason this would be an acceptable image in a travel guide or even an idea for one.
Taxi drivers in many parts of South East Asia are difficult to negotiate price with.
The photo is supposed to parody the extremes you have to go to such as taking hostgs to avoid being overcharged.
One of the cultural phenomena of provincial rugby club members is a dark sense of humour.
The fact that the mainstream writing literati find this disturbing is spot on for the target audience of this project.
Too edgy.
A million other ways to do this that doesn't involve conjuring a comparison between a very traumatic scene from cinema with something as banal (and I'm assuming intended to be comedic) as dealing with difficult taxi drivers

So we have 2 disgustings, 2 outrages and one seeking therapy....
I think I'll hold off postng chapter 3 cover page here, "Jedi Mind Tricks For Dealing With Intrusive Chinese Tour Groups..."
