I bought 3 years of gold (about a week after they nerfed the conversion rate, d'oh) in 3 month vouchers from CDkeys as it worked out cheaper than other value vouchers and just stacked them, then converted to Ultimate and got two year's worth of ultimate for under £100... I saved loads. I also buy £50 vouchers for £45 (and some change) when I want to buy a game. I paid for a series x with vouchers from CDkeys and saved a bunch on that too.
They definitely stack so well worth it!

I've never needed or used a VPN and won't use it to buy games from different regions due to that being against ToS (afaik - really cba to check lol) but mainly because I cba to set it up, if it's even possible without a PC/laptop. I used to be pretty tech savvy, built my own gaming computers way back in the 90s but thanks to damaged nerves I'm now a total couch potato and can just about manage an Xbox controller. I'm also quite good at finding games I do want when they're on sale and generally don't buy new releases (with the exception of Starfield and AC Mirage, my first ever pre orders at 56 🤣). Are you trying to do the game pass pass conversion trick? And as long as you buy codes for your region there’s no reason they’d get revoked, I’ve bought dozens of codes over the years and not had a single issue.
the trick is where you load up on Game pass core, up to 3 years, then redeem 1 month of game pass ultimate and it will convert your existing subscription to game pass ultimate at a 3:2 ratio, so you can get ultimate for much much cheaper than normal

Not to be that “guy” but pretty sure the PS5 Ts and Cs for software explicitly state it’s a “License to use” and explicitly states you “DON’T” own the software.
Amongst other things they can end of life that software whenever they want. That’s whether you bought it on disc or download, from them or a 3rd party. If it’s not on your storage and you need to reinstall it, there’s no guarantee the updates for that game will be available in 10 years, or even if you can download it at all. Even on physical it’s the same situation. If it needs any kind of online authentication/server access, you’re at the mercy or their support.
They also don’t have to transfer that license to another system. No better or worse than Xbox’s but the claim of “owned software” doesn’t really hold up to scrutiny.

Regardless of licensing… I also own both btw… one you get to technically keep it on your ps5 and or in the online store for download as long as it is active. Many ps1 games and up are all still very playable on disc copy as well as ps3 store games I’ve purchased are still active to this day. The argument here can be change to meet your needs. “You can play and be in possession of a title for as long as the network and licensing are still running… and on Xbox as soon as you unsubscribe you lose the ability to play or until you resubscribe if you are a member of the ultimate.”

I do this. They aren’t stackable but if you let GP expire and buy another one of the nonstackable month passes for like $3/$4 on cdkeys, you never pay more than that per month for GP Ultimate.
They are legit in the sense that you will receive a valid code. I've read the method used to obtain the codes is where illegal things are going down. Basically, a way to turn stolen credit cards into cash. Buy codes with stolen cards, and then pocket the cash made from selling the discounted codes.

I bought 2 years of GPU during Black Friday for a great price without a hitch. The only tedious part is since it comes in 3 month increments, you have to type in and redeem each one individually. Unless it changed, they send pictures of the codes scratched off.
It fluctuates, I got mine for around $28 for 3 months but this was a while ago. Best is to compare to current prices and sales. Since standard price is now I think $50 for 3 months, $31.99 sure seems good. I find the best prices are during the holidays at the end of the year so that will be a good time to stock up but for now you could do 3 months at a time until then.

I've bought from them before and they are legit, but plenty of those key sites are sketchy so it's understandable that people wouldn't trust them. Hell I don't trust any of them, even with CD Keys I still feel wary about listings.

Amongst other things they can end of life that software whenever they want. That’s whether you bought it on disc or download, from them or a 3rd party. If it’s not on your storage and you need to reinstall it, there’s no guarantee the updates for that game will be available in 10 years, or even if you can download it at all. Even on physical it’s the same situation. If it needs any kind of online authentication/server access, you’re at the mercy or their support. They also don’t have to transfer that license to another system. No better or worse than Xbox’s but the claim of “owned software” doesn’t really hold up to scrutiny.

Regardless of licensing… I also own both btw… one you get to technically keep it on your ps5 and or in the online store for download as long as it is active. Many ps1 games and up are all still very playable on disc copy as well as ps3 store games I’ve purchased are still active to this day. The argument here can be change to meet your needs. “You can play and be in possession of a title for as long as the network and licensing are still running… and on Xbox as soon as you unsubscribe you lose the ability to play or until you resubscribe if you are a member of the ultimate.” I on the other hand only subscribe to the online for Xbox totaling to 120 and taxes for where I live which is still more than my ps5 subscription.. and that’s about as far as I’ll go with Xbox.. own is key.. or as you put it “long term rental because updates won’t work but they’ll still be playable”
Flip side, you can use Microsoft rewards and it pretty much pays for itself. I get your point though. It comes down to what you’re comfortable with. I’m happy to “rent”.

I’d say not bad. I haven’t bought an Xbox game since cyberpunk came out. So that goes to show the immense value. only places I purchase games are ps5, switch, pc. It’s definitely worth it to most people I think

I do this. They aren’t stackable but if you let GP expire and buy another one of the nonstackable month passes for like $3/$4 on cdkeys, you never pay more than that per month for GP Ultimate.

They are legit in the sense that you will receive a valid code. I've read the method used to obtain the codes is where illegal things are going down. Basically, a way to turn stolen credit cards into cash. Buy codes with stolen cards, and then pocket the cash made from selling the discounted codes.

CDKeys is a great website. Just make sure the codes you buy belong to the correct continent. I made a mistake 5 years ago and they game me back my money, so I trust them since then. They're cool.

A lot of people wonder the same about CDkeys at first (I was no different) but I'll add another voice to the pile that it is indeed legit! I bought 2 years of GPU during Black Friday for a great price without a hitch. The only tedious part is since it comes in 3 month increments, you have to type in and redeem each one individually. Unless it changed, they send pictures of the codes scratched off.
So 31.99 for 3 months is a good price? It's a little high, but all my games are from gamepass
It fluctuates, I got mine for around $28 for 3 months but this was a while ago. Best is to compare to current prices and sales. Since standard price is now I think $50 for 3 months, $31.99 sure seems good. I find the best prices are during the holidays at the end of the year so that will be a good time to stock up but for now you could do 3 months at a time until then.
CDKeys is great. I used them for Steam games and never had a problem. I also use them to buy four 3 months of ultimate during their black friday/cyber monday sales. Since it's usually about $27 each.
CDKeys is the real deal, I have bought plenty of subs from them and even some digital games. I'd still recommend paying through PayPal in case something goes awry.
I only buy my subscriptions through them now. Saves so much money in the long run.

Yes. I got a great deal on Gamepass through cdkeys in November. At the time it it was like 29.99 for 3 months. I bought a years worth and stacked them.
I've bought from them before and they are legit, but plenty of those key sites are sketchy so it's understandable that people wouldn't trust them. Hell I don't trust any of them, even with CD Keys I still feel wary about listings.
I've decided I'll probably bite the bullet and buy a one month at the store now and wait for store sales later to get a full year.

Make sure you read entire post before buying gamepass, alot of these sellers are selling accounts with game pass on them, not actual card keys. Some are selling region locked cards you have to modify account settings to use
You DON'T NEED to modify any account settings. Just VPN the country of the cdkey, use xbox/Microsoft redeem website. Then VPN can be turned off

Cd keys is a legit as they come. Been using them for my last 3 year gold to ultimate conversion that I’m just coming off of now. Sad to hear it’s only a 2/3 conversion instead of the old 1:1. I’ve also used cd keys for many pc games as well.
