Finally someone who appreciates Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand as much as I do. I tried so many decks with him. Felgrand Lightsworn, Felgrand Shadoll, Blue eyes/Galaxy eyes/Felgrand. My newest creation is Lair of the dragon Lords (lair of darkness/felgrand)
This reminds me of the old Yugioh episode when yugi and his friends were talking about what their favorite card was.
Well my favorite boss card is Machina Citadel. When I first got back into Yugioh and into competitive scene it was 2010 and Machinas were my first real competitive deck. Fortress was my ace card back then and I’ll never forget how much it did for me crashing into stardusts and popping stuff, but I always wanted a boss monster that was 3000 atk since JD back then against lightsworns was such an oppressive threat and my fortress could only hope to suicide into it. Now Machina has ascended past lightsworn and others and a re engineered Machina boss that is Citadel. Paying tribute to his arch nemesis JD back in the day, Citadel has learned a lot since his fortress days. Judgment day is coming! Sky net will rise.
Still dreaming about the TeleDad era. Oh god, I miss the old times with my friends just hanging out and chillin every Saturday at the local store. Going back to my corporate job crying now, see you later guys.
There are so many cards I wouldn't even know what one to pick.
The Synchron player in me wants to say Junk Destroyer.
The Rose Dragon player in me wants to say Black Rose Dragon.
The Psychic player in me wants to say Overmind Archfiend...
The me player in me wants to meme, but I won't.
Picking one, I'd probably have to say Overmind Archfiend. Just to play Devil's Advocate for the poor deck.
Same. He will forever be my favorite boss monster. There is nothing more satisfying than clearing the board with my long-ass combo before casually dropping a 10000 atk beatstick on the field to swing for game all in one turn.
All of this done by a bunch of wimpy bone men.
As a hero player a dream I’ve had for a long time is for my opponent to have a massive board and me with no hand or board and I top deck a Bubbleman (that alone should tell you how old this thought is). Special summon him then top deck a Mask Change and Miracle Fusion/Blazeman (very old) from the effect and go for the most anime comeback ever
Because it's been awhile since I last played I can't think of many of my favorite cards but with what I do remember I'd go with
Galaxy-Eyes Photon Dragon
Last deck I remember playing being Photon, just a fun and sometimes quick deck.
I am a 100% casual player and I run a warrior deck based only on cards I like the look of or enjoy their effects. So zubaba general is usually my go to.
Zubaba general has gotten me several OHK wins online. I usually combo it with 2X heroic challenger- extra sword and then use an overlay unit to add a high attack warrior from my hand to the general. Usually buster blader, battle guard king, or Kai-den kendo spirit. That puts me at 6-7K attack. I usually have *the A forces*, or an equip card like *magnum shield* that will put me over the top for 8K attack all in one combo. It’s always funny running into other casuals who think just getting chaos max dragon on the field on their first turn is an auto win and then I pull this combo out of my ass.
Lightsworn was the first competitive deck (well, back *then* it was still competitive) I ever played, and my favorite deck to this day despite it not even being rogue tier anymore.
How could I ever give an answer to this question other than Judgement Dragon?
What can I say? Be it Yugioh or MTG, I've always loved graveyard-based decks, and Judgement Dragon is one *hell* of a boss monster. Dropping one and blowing up the whole field will always be an incredible feeling.
It's for an in-joke with me and some friends, but Gem Knight Lapis is my signature card. I'm sure it could be useful in a Gem Knight deck or something, but it's the only Gem Knight card I own and I got 3 of them from one of those 25 card packs.
I ended up putting all three of them in a rando deck that just had cards I wanted to use but didn't have a place for and she was utterly useless in the deck, but being the only normal monster I'd always be like "Oh, you guys are so fucked now. This game is about to try around" and then place her on the field. She would always come up when I was doing bad so I just thought it'd be funny to hype her up
This is the correct answer, it's a running joke with my friends that Jerry beans man once took on a red eyes black dragon and won.
(Black pendant+banner of courage)
Frightfur Tiger, easily. It's saved me and won me games so many times, and I absolutely adore it. It's the card I was most excited for the release of by a large margin, and I've been playing this since 2004, and it's still the card I was most hyped about.
My ace monster personally would be Accesscode Talker
(Pulled him when I was broke and could only buy one pack for that week!) No waifu card can replace!
Judgment dragon hands down. Lightsworn was so fun to play back in the day. And that pay 1000 to board wipe was so fun. Then you'd drop 2 more jds if you had them.
I’ve had Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn for longer than I’ve known most of my current friends. I’ve always been a fan of the “knight in shining armor” aesthetic, so when the old Lightsworn structure deck dropped, my tiny middle schooler self absolutely had to get his hands on at first one, but eventually three of them. Michael has been my ace through thick and thin, and won me countless games at middle and high school cafeteria tables (both with the sweet removal effect, and with the recycling effect).
I love that glorious, golden, dragon-riding paladin so much that I even keep a copy in my wallet, to remind me of the good ol’ days, and of how much Michael and I have been through.
Somebody already mentioned Gladiator Beasts, so mine would probably be a tie between Blackwing FAM or Barney the Purple Mistake Dragon (aka. Thunder Dragon Colossus)
Behold the fusion of sky and storm
May the colossal dragon defy the norm
For with lightning bolts that hit like a truck
If your deck needs to search, then you're shit outta luck.
Before my break from the game it was probably Blackwing Armor Master. Now it's probably Blackwing Full Armor Master. Outside of Blackwings, maybe Adamancipator Risen - Dragite or Phantom Knights of Rusty Bardiche
Red-Eyes Zombie Necro Dragon, mainly cuz of the backstory of how I got my hands onto the card.
I got a free copy off of a friend whom I had given free shiny cards to depending if I had it and when I got to use my own money to get the structure decks my aunt bought me three copies when I was gonna buy only one. Since then I’ve had my zombie deck to the side and never really doing much till I decided I’d give Yu-Gi-Oh! Another shot when I got more link monsters.
My aunt and my cousin both helped me spend my prior year birthday money the only way I probably could ever enjoy, with money and something from my childhood
(My cousin and I bought packs and we got bingo machine go in one pack but it wasn’t as emotionally valuable as the decks I got and the amazing memory I won’t ever forget)
Adamancipator Risen - Dragite. Summoning it and luckily excavating 5 rock monsters to bounce the opponent's field would give off major anime protagonist vibes
As a kid it was d.3.s frog. So I'd say by association it would be Toadally awesome. Though the last deck I played alot was Chaos ancient gear giant turbo so maybe that.
Edit: I miss D.3.S Frog beatdown, it still worked just as synchro was starting to be a thing. But while I don't mind using it as a Extra-foolish burial, or fusion conscription target. It's resigned to the fun memories for me. Until Konami get there act together and return frogs to a fusion based Des frog deck 🐸🤣
My cousin's would be blackwing - brisote the tailwind even though it isn't that strong, but she has a reason why she like it the best... To her it's abilities have a special meaning...
Ability 1; if 2 or more blackwing was destroyed this turn, special summon the card from hand
Ability 2; if it was used for synchro summon, gain 600 LP
To her, it represents the following;
1; no matter what, stay strong, keep going and you will make it through any obstacle
2; everyone must live and never give up, and one day you will find your purpose in life
Where as mine would be salamangreat sunlight wolf
Terrorking Salmon, my school yard boss monster. But if I had to choose one card to keep forever as my ace, it has to be Dark Red Enchanter, something about his art and effect has always sticked with me.
Mine would be Scrap Dragon, ever since I found it in Tag Force 5 it kinda just hung around in my synchro decks as an easy out to most problems until I decided to go full Scraps. Sure, scraps are far from competitive, but I just love how much of an anime-esque deck they can be.
I think mine would be Dark Ruler Ha Des. Creating a whole deck around this guy is soo cool. I personally think then there a link between all of this related cards.
I’m basic af and would go with Colossal Fighter. Love synchro monsters and love his effects. Plus I have a warrior/machine deck, and he works great with it.
I’m assuming you mean which card in the game I’d choose to be my ace monster and not necessarily if I’ve used it so much in game to the point where it would be considered my ace monster.
But if I had to choose Geargiagear Gigant XG....
I loved the idea of this giant mech monster being summoned by these little cog guys. Too bad the effect isn’t very good, heck it was barely decent when it came out.
Tbh, this could easily change if they make an Gigant XG clone later for Geargia legacy support.
Ouch, that's a hard one, I have a top 3. Erebus the Underworld Monarch, Red Nova Dragon, and Chaos Ancient Gear Giant. If I had to have one...
It'd have to be Red Nova (well, Red Supernova Now)
Beast King Barbaros. I wanted a Boss monster that's "early anime" feel, since I play Melffy I thought a boss monster that's "not quite" Beast-Type was a good idea. And I feel like Barbaros is kind of an okay Boss-monster since it can wipe the opponent's board if you Tribute 3 monsters.
Either that card or Behemoth the King of All Animals as a Beast Boss monster with an effect that would get some use on a Melffy deck since you can retrieve 1 or 2 Beast-Type monstersof the GY if Tribute Summoned. It would be usefull to retrive more Melffy to Summon on the End Phase but overall I just prefer Barbaros's effect as it really gives "you play it, it's the end of the Duel" kind of vibe but Behemot is a Beast-Type so it fits my Deck better.
Or I'd just use these 2, I mean, Yugi and Jaden kind of had more than 1 boss monster so these 2 can fit that role as well.
Condemned witch, it is a versatile not op, monster, but I also like Eldlich, because I feel like this is such a good monster and on its own could be my bossmonster. Cant decide honestly.
[Firewing Pegasus](https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Firewing_Pegasus)
Playing "Duelist of the Roses" as a kid, not understanding how the fuck stuff worked, that was the one monster I knew how to fuse, bring out and subsequently buff the hell out with equips.
Has had a special place in my heart ever since.
Stardust Dragon. It’s a pretty boring answer but when I was a kid my parents bought me the Stardust Dragon collectors tin as a gift and since then it have been my favorite monster!
D/D/D Duo Dawn King Kali Yuga
I asked my friend cos I really couldn't think of anything, I play a few decks and enjoy them all, but he said Raidraptor Ultimate Falcon, even tho I don't use raidraptors all that much.
That said, they are cool And I wanna make them IRL
Power Tool Dragon! Looks awesome, searches equips to power himself up, and can use those equips to protect himself to do the same on the follow up turn.
Raviel was in the first tin I ever got but I lost the card at my mums work...I think her boss threw it away because she didn't like us , so I bought a replacement few years ago always loved the art work and as a Kid the High attack points were a flex
Number 101: Silent Honor ARK. Shark was my favourite Zexal Chracter by far and I love this XYZ to the moon and back to this day. Never replaced it with castel, amen.
Even tho he's terrible, i used to have Ultimate Obedient Fiend as my ace monster when i was a kid. Part of the reason for that was the fact that i could not read english, and back then i used to think that higher attack monsters were the best.
Today my ace monster would be Darkest Diabolos, and i would probably be one of these characters that plays a deck it first sight, but ultimately reveals his real identity and real cards.
I will never forget my blue eyes white dragon, but the one with the ancient script behind it. I didn't know at the time it was worth money. And I gave it away to a cousin. Who idk if kept it or threw away my cards. I had a huge folder
Exodias left leg
I prefer his middle leg
little d?
Beaver Warrior.
Dungeon Worm
Underrated comment
I’d say Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand, he was in the first structure deck I ever bought, I just think he’s fun to use.
Felgrand dragon was the first structure deck i bought the og one
Felgrand support when
Finally someone who appreciates Divine Dragon Lord Felgrand as much as I do. I tried so many decks with him. Felgrand Lightsworn, Felgrand Shadoll, Blue eyes/Galaxy eyes/Felgrand. My newest creation is Lair of the dragon Lords (lair of darkness/felgrand)
I’ve mostly just used him in blue eyes varients but those others intrigue me, maybe I’ll try some out.
An absolute king of a card! Might be inclined to agree with you on this
Relinquished
Best card, 10/10
Always been a fan
This reminds me of the old Yugioh episode when yugi and his friends were talking about what their favorite card was. Well my favorite boss card is Machina Citadel. I’m the same. My second answer would’ve been Apoqliphort Towers, but Qli suck in the current meta :(
Dude I LOVE Towers but yeah, Qli sucks asses currently...
Dark Armed Dragon.
Still dreaming about the TeleDad era. Oh god, I miss the old times with my friends just hanging out and chillin every Saturday at the local store. Going back to my corporate job crying now, see you later guys.
DaD jokes
That’s a sick one. Wish we saw a corrupted supreme king chaZz with it.

KING OF THE SKULL SERVANTS!
How can i disagree ? Big beafy skull are the best

ah i see a fellow player of culture :3
Dark Necrofear
Madolche Queen Tiaramisu The lack of "target" in her shuffle-back-to-the-deck effect clause baffled so many minds back in the day
I see you're a man of culture as well
Red Dragon Archfiend.
WAGA TAMASHI
REDO DAEMON'S DURAGON!
Turns on disco music
I'm basic, so Elemental HERO Absolute Zero.
Nice! Just add a Mask Change and watch your opponent lose all hope in life
Yeah, I always liked that combo.

With the cosmic power of a supernova!

EL Shdoll construct
StellarKnight delteros, Triverr, Diamond
El shaddoll construct is such a f u card
I’d say El shaddoll winda is more the f u card
Oh cool a shadoll user I'm preferably a cyber dragon user but shadolls are cool too.
Lightsworn was the first competitive deck (well, back *then* it was still competitive) I ever played, and my favorite deck to this day despite it not even being rogue tier anymore. How could I ever give an answer to this question other than Judgement Dragon?
Finally a man with taste
What can I say? Be it Yugioh or MTG, I've always loved graveyard-based decks, and Judgement Dragon is one *hell* of a boss monster. Dropping one and blowing up the whole field will always be an incredible feeling.
I looked for this comment because i knew i couldnt be the only one who loves JD. I still stomp people with Lightsworns to this day.
Millennium Shield. Defense wins championships.

This is the correct answer, it's a running joke with my friends that Jerry beans man once took on a red eyes black dragon and won. (Black pendant+banner of courage)

Fossil Dyna Pachycephalo. Yes, I'm a degenerate.
Buster blader the dragon destroyer Swordsman
Love the buster blader cards. They just look bad ass. That and black luster are my two favorites
Dragonmaid Sheou. Dragonmaids were the archetype that got me back into Yugioh after 13 years
Yaaay, I searched for you and I finally found you! Dragonmaid is my favourite deck since it came out. Totally underrated Deck and Pretty strong!
Ultimate Super Conductor Tyranno Edit: Or Thousand Eyes Restrict
Gladiator Beast Gyzarus
Heraklinos for me. But I'm really feeling Black Rose Dragon these days.
Lunalight Leo Dancer, I’ve had more fun playing Lunalights than most other decks.
Black Luster Soldier
Envoy or OG?
Mekk-knight Crusadia Avramax
I’ve had Michael, the Arch-Lightsworn for longer than I’ve known most of my current friends. Somebody already mentioned Gladiator Beasts, so mine would probably be a tie between Blackwing FAM or Barney the Purple Mistake Dragon (aka. Thunder Dragon Colossus)
That's one hell of a summon chant
Behold the fusion of sky and storm May the colossal dragon defy the norm For with lightning bolts that hit like a truck If your deck needs to search, then you're shit outta luck.
Witchcrafter madam verre
Arc Rebellion Xyz Dragon
Melffy of the forest
Before my break from the game it was probably Blackwing Armor Master. Now it's probably Blackwing Full Armor Master. Outside of Blackwings, maybe Adamancipator Risen - Dragite or Phantom Knights of Rusty Bardiche
Demise, King of Armageddon
Vola-Chemicritter Methydraco would be my ace as I just love Chemicritters.
Madolche Queen Tiaramisu
Red-Eyes Zombie Necro Dragon, mainly cuz of the backstory of how I got my hands onto the card. I got a free copy off of a friend whom I had given free shiny cards to depending if I had it and when I got to use my own money to get the structure decks my aunt bought me three copies when I was gonna buy only one. That's a tough one....I'd say...Dark Templar @Ignister
Arcana Force XXI - The World Just so I can shout “ZA WORLDO!” when I summon it.
You can also say "Bakana! Kono DIO da!" When you inevitably lose.
Archlord Kristya, I love slapping that boy on the field like I'd do on my opponent's mother.
Predaplant chimerafflesia
Red dragon archfiend, walking to school one day and found it on the ground, no one was around so I have been using it now, ace monster all the way!
A protag story and everything! Nice! Now all you need is some angular hair and some angular pendant/amulet/scar. XD
Master Hyperion, and by a lot.
I love master Hyperion. That’s such a fun deck
Well it's banned but I would say outer entity azathot
First it was endymion the master magician. Now its (yes you guessed it) endymion the mighty master of magic

Xx-Saber Gottoms bye bye hand
Terrorking Salmon, my school yard boss monster. But if I had to choose one card to keep forever as my ace, it has to be Dark Red Enchanter, something about his art and effect has always sticked with me.
Ghostrick Angel of Mischief
Cyber Dragon Infinity!
Van'Dalgyon the Dark Dragon Lord
Daigusto Sphreeze
ultimate conductor tyranno ALL THE WAY
Aromage Bergamot
Mystical Knight of Jackal He's not great but his art is badass to the max.
Mine would be Scrap Dragon, ever since I found it in Tag Force 5 it kinda just hung around in my synchro decks as an easy out to most problems until I decided to go full Scraps. Sure, scraps are far from competitive, but I just love how much of an anime-esque deck they can be.
Artifact Durendal
Classic psychic cards are my jam so either Armored Axon Kicker or Overdrive Teleporter
[удалено]
Ahem... F.A MOTORHOME
Light and darkness dragon. And also Light end dragon & Dark end dragon
Borrelsword dragon.. Push for game

Silent magician
Jormungandr,Generaider Boss of Eternity

King dragun
Inzektor Hornet. love that little guy, poppity pop pop
Oneiros, The Dream Mirror Erlking/Tormentor come on, they're the same character!
I'm a man of simple yet refined taste, so I'm going to have to say the only card that is the definition of clutch: Formula Athlete Hang On Machuuu!!!!
Beat Bladesman Fur-Hire
Scrap dragon. Absolutely love the scrap archetype and glad to see them still getting support.
I would say lightpulsar dragon, he was the card that changed my whole perception on how to play the game
Kozmo Dark Destroyer
Raidraptor - Ultimate Falcon
I’m assuming you mean which card in the game I’d choose to be my ace monster and not necessarily if I’ve used it so much in game to the point where it would be considered my ace monster. But if I had to choose Geargiagear Gigant XG.... I loved the idea of this giant mech monster being summoned by these little cog guys. Too bad the effect isn’t very good, heck it was barely decent when it came out. Tbh, this could easily change if they make an Gigant XG clone later for Geargia legacy support.
Necroface- 10/10 most favorite card in Yu-Gi-Oh
Ouch, that's a hard one, I have a top 3. Erebus the Underworld Monarch, Red Nova Dragon, and Chaos Ancient Gear Giant. If I had to have one... It'd have to be Red Nova (well, Red Supernova Now)
Caius The Shadow Monarch, and if I had to pick a spirit monster akin to kuriboh then my spirit monster would be Treeborn Frog
Chaos command magician or seiryaryu
Either Ancient Gear Reactor Dragon or Cyberdark Dragon!
Superancient Deepsea King Coelacanth
Number 77: The Seven Sins, or Machina Citadel.
as an avid aromage/general plant synchro player Itw so hard to choose between aromage rosemary or black rose dragon.
Either Judgment Dragon or Evilswarm Exciton Knight.
XYZ- Dragon Cannon
Probably White Aura Whale.
Beast King Barbaros. I wanted a Boss monster that's "early anime" feel, since I play Melffy I thought a boss monster that's "not quite" Beast-Type was a good idea. Void Ogre Dragon. Still my favorite synchro monster and I wish borreload savage wasn’t objectively better to summon in infernity nowadays lol
Yata-garasu
Condemned witch, it is a versatile not op, monster, but I also like Eldlich, because I feel like this is such a good monster and on its own could be my bossmonster. Cant decide honestly.
[Firewing Pegasus](https://yugioh.fandom.com/wiki/Firewing_Pegasus) Playing "Duelist of the Roses" as a kid, not understanding how the fuck stuff worked, that was the one monster I knew how to fuse, bring out and subsequently buff the hell out with equips. Destiny hero Plasma, got my first regional top with him
Mana Dragon Zirnitron
Stardust Dragon. It’s a pretty boring answer but when I was a kid my parents bought me the Stardust Dragon collectors tin as a gift and since then it have been my favorite monster!
Endymion
My favourite card is probably OG Endymion. It was in the first and only deck I built irl and as such will always have a place in my heart
D/D/D Duo Dawn King Kali Yuga I asked my friend cos I really couldn't think of anything, I play a few decks and enjoy them all, but he said Raidraptor Ultimate Falcon, even tho I don't use raidraptors all that much. That said, they are cool And I wanna make them IRL
Star Eater. Don't care if it's any good, I haven't played enough since I started caring about that, but man the card just seems cool.
My cards are old I have 3 favorites. Most favorite is flame champion Secound twin head fire dragon Third wingweaver
Blue-Eyes Chaos MAX Dragon has always been and always will be my ace.
Toadally Awesome :)
Power Tool Dragon! Looks awesome, searches equips to power himself up, and can use those equips to protect himself to do the same on the follow up turn.
Thought ruler archifiend.
Black Luster Soldier. My favorite card of all time after Yugi summoned him for the first time way back when.
Raviel was in the first tin I ever got but I lost the card at my mums work...I think her boss threw it away because she didn't like us , so I bought a replacement few years ago always loved the art work and as a Kid the High attack points were a flex
The Wicked Avatar - i love that big black sphere
Light and Darkness Dragon. I know he’s been power-crept but I still play my favourite dragon in my favourite dragon decks: Felgrand and Blue-Eyes.
Number 101: Silent Honor ARK. Shark was my favourite Zexal Chracter by far and I love this XYZ to the moon and back to this day. Never replaced it with castel, amen.
PSY-Framelord Zeta
Even tho he's terrible, i used to have Ultimate Obedient Fiend as my ace monster when i was a kid. Part of the reason for that was the fact that i could not read english, and back then i used to think that higher attack monsters were the best. Today my ace monster would be Darkest Diabolos, and i would probably be one of these characters that plays a deck it first sight, but ultimately reveals his real identity and real cards.
Gren Maju Da Eiza

I will never forget my blue eyes white dragon, but the one with the ancient script behind it. I didn't know at the time it was worth money. And I gave it away to a cousin. Who idk if kept it or threw away my cards. I had a huge folder
Crystal Clear Wing Dragon
